green name=miniclip worker
and ime guessing the light blue colour is just regular users.

Just so you all here know, users with a BLUE NAME are from the actual Club Penguin company. Everybody else with an ORANGE NAME are just on the forum, and users with GREEN NAMES work for Miniclip.

He administrates here because he's one of the few users who really understands how VBulletin works. You don't become an admin simply by being a good poster. Miniclip aren't gonna trust a $160 forum to someone who doesn't have a clue what they're doing.

Question 1: The 'edited by' notice only appears after 5 minutes. It used to be two, but I asked RFS to extend it.

Question 2: The forums officially opened in March, however Miniclip and Club Penguin staff got to register a few days before.

Back in May 2006 when Club Penguin got exposure and a forum spot on Miniclip Ben (the Administrator) asked me personally if I would like to help out and just keep an eye on Club Penguin, so I was added as a Moderator to that forum (a few long time members here might remember me toting an orange name). That didn't last long, because by the time Club Penguin got rolling Ben realized that they all needed someone to keep up with the forums full time, so after some chatting with Robert Small (the CEO :O), I signed on to become a company employee.

As Tetsumonchi mentioned, being a good poster for the most part really is only good enough for being a Moderator. Since RFSHQ runs off of vBulletin software as well I have had some previous experience with the code and software, so I ended up being in charge of keeping up with Club Penguin while it was on the other forums. Then the game got big enough to the point where we needed new forums just for the game (these), and since I was already still the "Moderator" for the game I pretty much was given these forums to call all of the shots on.

I do have a penguin account, but I mostly only log on to play a few minigames to waste some time and stuff. I find that if I start showing up at people's parties then people just ask me for a buddy request and that's no fun at all. Technically I really don't HAVE to post here, all I am supposed to do is make sure that forum is recoded or updated when needed and now that these forums are on their own, I keep up with the staff. I post here because you guys are awesome. :cool:

EDIT: Aside from being called a nerd (which is an easy way to push my Angry button) it's sad to see ANOTHER user go for 5 infractions. :(
