Any Beginners Tutorials?

When I say "beginners", I mean begginers. To me, GIMP is as confusing as me.

So, are there any tutorials you recommend for getting used to the feel of GIMP?

have you tried gimptalk? its like a forums site just for gimp, loads of tutorials there but im not sure if the site is .org or .com

ok if you need any help with details ill be on later, i think tri and ninja use gimp also, so you cant try them if im not around, i dont use gimp anymore, so i might not know anything, but i used gimp for a while

Nah, I don't use it anymore. But I did for a bout a year, making the options on GIMP burned in my head.(That means I know where everything is, and what there option does). So yes, if you need anything, please ask.;)

BTW, I use PS CS3. I love it, but I'm getting familiar with it's options.

Those are paths, I think. You should have a path tool, though I don't know how to use it.

You can try my Peach Tutorial. Just search it on here and you'll find it. It's pretty easy.

I tried it, but I couldn't even paste a picture. -_-

It just kept creating a "floating layer" and I couldn't move the picture.
