Getting started!
Why are edits important?
Edits are a fun way to make artwork and to make freinds.
Why are edits so popular?
They show our talents and everyone enjoys making them.
In this guide.
1. I will show how to make edits and how to post them.
2. I will tell some good rules.
3. I will show how to post your edits.

1. Making edits
First to make an edit all you need is a keyboard. Press prnt scrn. It is right next to the F12 button. When you press that nothing should happen. It automatically takes a picture of the screen though. Go into paint. It is in the acceseries part on your computer. Once you open paint press Ctrl + F at the same time. Or go to edit and press paste. Your picture will come up. (the whole screen). If you want to select an area that you want the picture in press the button on the top right corner. Select by drawing a box around the area you want. Copy that. Erase everything and then paste. This part should be very easy. Once you get the part of the screen that you want then you can simply paint over the parts that you want. To make you edits look more real blend the colors. Meaning when going from one color to the next go from a dark and blend into a light. (Ex. If you wanted to draw a house in light red then you would outline the house in dark red. This will make you edit look much better!)

2. Rules
To start you should never make anything that has any bad language. You should never post any pictures that are not appropriot. Ex. photos that are not intended for people under 10. All of your pictures should be polite and respectful. You shold never say bad things about other groups in your edits. Ex. This teams stinks! Never post a picture like that. Have fun with your pictures.

3. How to post your edits.
Many people may ask... How do I post my edit? It is very simple. First go to www.imageshack.us . After you get to this site go to browse. Make sure the dot is in file. Then click on the browse button. Your files will pop up. Click on pictures. Click on the picture that you want to upload. Then the url for the picture will come up, this is ok. Go to resize image. If you dont want the image to be resized then do not click anything. If you want to image to be resized automatically for you then click on the space and check the box. Then click on the arrow that points down and click on how big you want your image. Then after you have chosen all of these options click host it! You will either wait really long or a very short time. This depends on your internet speed and the size of the file. If you are using dial-up then it will take a bit longer to upload than it will if you have broadband. Do not worry it will not take any longer than 3 minutes. Usually it takes about 20-30 seconds. Once your picture pops up and and it is finnished then it is time to post your image. Click on hotlink for forums 1. Copy it by right clicking on it and pressing copy, or Ctrl + C at the same time. Then paste it into your post. When you submit your post the image will be there. Have fun with posting your edits.

4. Rules on other peoples edits
First never tell somebody that an edit is really bad or horrible. That will only make the person upset. A nice way of telling sombody that their edit isnt very good is to tell the positives and tell them what to change. Never tell them its horrible. Ex. Your edits stinks! Never tell someone that it was a pointless edit or a waste of time. Rateing is different. If they do rateing 1 - 10 feel free to rate it whatever you want. Just dont post that it isnt good. Always be nice and be possitive about others edits. Treat other peoples edits like you would want them to treat yours.
Very important!
NEVER STEAL SOMEBODY'S EDIT! Never copy someones edit and call it your own. This will not help you in any way. It is very important that you stick to this rule. You do not want people to get mad at you for stealing their edit. This rule is a must. If you do not follow this rule then do not come in this forum. It is the worst thing you can possible do to someone. ONLY post your own drawings! Or edits!

5. How to edit (with pictures)
If the text was to hard for you to figure out how to edit then here is an easier way. Look at my pictures it will show you how.
First press prnt screen on your keyboard. (Do this when you want to take the picture)

6. Editing with other programs.
This is very easy. If you have a profesional edit program that you think is better then paint than use can use that. This is what you do. Go into paint paste the picture into paint. Then go to save. Name the picture whatever you would like it to be. Then Go into the other editing program. Go to open. Click on pictures. Then click on the picture you want to edit. Have fun!
