Ok before I start Id like to say some things :
1)Mods please dont lock this because it seems Im bashing on CP. I think this is the worse thing on CP right now, and I think it should be addressed.
2) This isnt a complaint thread because I lost or anything related to that. For proof look at the "Christmas-y igloos" thread. I posted my igloo just to post it and said I am 100% sure no one will win.
Alright now I shall begin. The contests in CP have always been lacking good judgement and no decent winners but Im almost positive that it has sunk to a new low. It is 100% true that : winners are picked at random, and its entierly unfair. I mean the first igloo there with 12 puffles ... was that a joke? and then there is one that literally has random stuff in there at random place. And all the others are just :rolleyes:. I see beter when I just go "igloo hopping" Alright fine, so the "winners" win 10000 coins for this blah balh blah but another "what - I - find - surprising" thing happened which made me completely wonder - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
It was the night of Wednesday the 20th a.k.a the night before the winners of the contest. I was trying to have a party at Matterhorn server when a penguin by the name of CRUSEB is telling everyone at the dock (which was pretty popular) that he won the contest. Now me being the defiant stubborn person I am said "There is no way, the contest aint over" and by the looks of his igloo (:sick:) I was pretty confident he was not in shooting distant of winning. He told everyone "Just wait till the paper" so since his igloo which was very laggy was packed with haters I left. Today I open the newspaper and TA DA wins ! I really was shocked so this means that he somehow must of knew he won before a) the contest was over b)during the contest.
Well Im done here and the past two contest I said ill never enter agiain but this time I satnd by my word fo rthe next one. I am also trying to e-mail CP about the sub-ject. ANd dont say im complaining because i know (emphasis on KNOW) that something fishy is goin on with these contests.
