Why has the 20 characters per post rule gone up to 25?

Why has the 20 characters per post rule gone up to 35? 20 was enough i think.

No, because some people post to get posts. If you are making a post of under 40 characters, it is too short. You post for a reason, not just to post.

Maybe because some people would write "I had nothing else to say so Im wasting space" and they would just type junk. But what I just said Isn't the reason
