Hey peoples. I am looking to make GIFs but I dont have any idea what programs there are for making GIFs. Anyway here is my question? What is the best program to make GIFs?

Here is my bottom line I use GIMP Animation, but other people use other programs. It's not all about the program just your experience. I think the GIMP animation is nice.

It's standard on the gimp when you save layers as GIF.

GIMP is a free program my sig and avvy made both with it and my avvy was my first creation.

You can easily make GIF's with any basic graphics program,(layers are the animation frames!) but GIMP is very good for GIF's, since it already has some animation script on it and you can donload an animation plugin for it.

Try Babarosa, Its a really good program. Its free forever! And i made my profile pic from it ;)
