This isn't so much a "gift" as it is me getting something really cool done as a favor. Before I bought my new PC I have right now I could not transfer VHS videotape footage into my computer, but my friend in Illinois could. I sent him my collection of BattleBots and today in the mail I got Seasons 1 and 2 on DVD, ready to edit on my PC and stick up on the Internet. BattleBots stopped airing on TV in 2003, and trust me, me and the guys from RFSHQ have literally crawled the entire Internet and we could not find one single website that had fight videos, downloads, and other promotional media.
So we thought, "Why not make RFSHQ the FIRST site to do all of this?" Yes, I have the entire television series on tape, and now it's going online.
I did a quick 15 minute rough cut piece-together to slap on YouTube and RFSHQ to show that I have proof to back up my claims:
BattleBots Season 1: Voltarc VS Bender (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqHGfxoMCsg)
The first season, the first episode, the first nationally aired BattleBots fight.

Battlebots? I've heard of that somewhere I think... Anyway, how do you feel about making history? :P Merry Christmas. ;)

So is that anything like what we used to have in the UK called "Robot Wars?"
It was great! People would make these metal robot's and battle them out in an arena.
My fave British one was called "Panic Attack."
Apologies if I'm barking on about the wrong thing!:)
Oh wow! It is the same kind of thing. Cool! I wonder if there's any "Robot Wars" on Youtube to bring back memories for me too!

Yup BattleBots is exactly like Robot Wars.
But, you know, minus the rigged-ness of it.

I remember Battle Bots, I always wondered to what happened to them, with this extra attribute added to your site I guarantee alot more popularity.

I remember BattleBots oh so well. I used to collect their toy models of some of the robots, although I lost them.

I have literally nearly every single piece of BattleBots merchandise and memorabilia aside from actual pieces of competitors themselves.
But yes, there is no other website on the entire Internet that we can find (we have been searching since 2003) that has these videos available. This will be an internet first, we are very stoked about it. :)

o.o Wow. That's very Battlebotlicious of you.
I have never watched Battle Bots but I've heard a few references to it. Comedy Cental/robots trying to beat the bahookama out of each other. Sounds fun.
