Well, lately I've seen a lot of people trading their penguins. And I've been wondering, can they be banned for it?

Its bad to trade penguins, cause they might change there password and dont have a penguin and yes they will get banned.

I do not think they can get banned, but if something does happen to their penguin, that is their own fault for giving the information away.

Trading Penguins is a bannabled offense.

Giving penguin details is what all password hand outs come under.

It is considered to be breaking the Club Penguin Rules. Such a stupid scam. ;)

I think they can get banned because to switch penguins with someone you have to give them your password, which is against the Club Penguin rules.

Trading penguins is a bannable offence because it is just pretty much hacking face- to- face. If you think about it, it is just hacking.

Yeah they can get banned for giving out there password.

It is usually the person that they gave it out too, is the one that gets them banned.

I consider trading penguins breaking the rules by sharing personal info (password). I report anyone who says "WHO WANTS TO TRADE SAY 567", "567" , or "WANNA TRADE PENGUINS?" whenever i wear an old item.

why would you trade penguins. Its just stupid.
They could lie about there password.

Someone asked me to trade once. I lied about my password and they gave me their password.

I tried the other person's password and they lied too!

And if you know someone that traded there penguins you should tell them not to. Because your E-Mail is involved and your IP! If Clubpenguin Catches that penguin that you traded with hacking or doing other things that deserve an IP ban, You will be IP banned because they will see your ip and not the offencer.

Trust me it`s a bad Idea;) ;)

This is deffinetly a bannable offense under my case because lets think about memberships here for a second. When trading penguins your wasting your money if you were a member. Besides. Isn't a rule not to give out you passwords etc. And besaide you can have up to 5 penguins so just use those ones instead of trading. Also there are alot of sca,,ers out there who you give your pass to and they give you theirs, but how do you kniow ut us their pass? You just gave away your account and got nothing in return. It might look like fun. But it isn't. YOu'll get cheated out of your ccount. And BAM all that time buying clohes and making buddies with on your computer.... down the drain. It's not fun. Don't do i. Even if isn't a bannable offense, what is the point?

This is a bannable offence because your giving your password to someone you don't know and for all you know, the account the other person tells you could be fake! Plus the hacker could destroy your old account. Don't do it.
