Personaly I love rap.I have been listening to it for a long time and no matter what anyone says I'll still stick with rap.

I honestly do not like rap one bit. I don't see much talent in rap music. To me, it's just rhyming to a beat. With other genres, the artists sing and have actual talent (although certain people such as Britney Spears and Avril Lavine don't have much talent at all). However, that's just my opinion.

Rock is such a general term, and so is rap. I know HUNDREDS of hip hop songs that are ok for children. But nothing you'd ever hear on the radio today.

I don't consider that rock, it's called pop. You can't find real rock in the top 40 these days or at least it is really rare. However some Fall Out Boy non-hits are rock, the hits are pop.

No talent? If it took no talent, lets see you make a rap song.

Every rap song has a point to it. "Sex, money, drugs, and hoods" are the popular music. Thats the 50 Cent and Eminem garbage. You can't just listen to a few artist and call the entire genre of Rap **** because of the few songs you've heard.

RAP has hundreds of songs that are suitable for children. If you wanna play that game, there are thousands of rock songs that are inappropriate for children.



Unlike most of you rockers, i like both kinds of music. I'm open-minded, i don't mind listening to one genre of music. I'm not one who would sit there and say "Eww, its rap, it sucks." If something appeals to me, i'll like it.

Just because you do not like rap, doesn't mean you have to discredit it. Just because you hate it, doesn't mean you can go on and say that it doesn't have stuff that it does.

Hate the music, but don't be a closed-minded ignorant jack**** and say that rap has no talent behind it.
