Well with votes in the paper I have always noticed that when you close the paper and reopen it, you can vote again, I remember CP saying ages ago they plan parties 2 months before, or something and might already have picked what theme the party will be. Maybe I am wrong but I don't understand it, maybe when you close the paper and open it and try to vote again then that one does not count, like it can remember that, that account has already voted.

Discuss, I hope I am wrong, but maybe I am not.

Yeah, that should be it. But checking the amount of voters for westrn.. I dont know.

I wondered that. I mean, it seems unlikely that they would take the time to design 3 parties if they were just going to use 1. And it takes a long time to design all of the decorations, free items etc. So that would take more than a few weeks...

But, I hope I am wrong.

I think they mean a repeat of the party, so the party will be exactly the same as the original but possibly with different items

I'm not sure. The Newspaper says a 'theme' for the new party, not the same party.

Not many people were there when it was on. It was held on July 06, which was when a lot of people go on vacation for Summer.

What? I never said I was supporting the Western Party, I was just stating why a lot of people were probably voting for it.

I really hated the western party, the only good bit was probably meeting the band for the first time, the pirate party came out a few months ago and i really hated the sailor hat item, but i really liked the sports party and i hope they bring back the soreboards for the ice rink. I really think people are just choosing parties because of how old they are, not because of how cool they were

I was just wondering. I mean many people on vacation cannot be an excuse for bringing back a party, just sayin.

Erm, I wasn't using it as an excuse to bring back the Western Party. I want the Sports Party to come back...

Jsonchiu proved that in the newspaper, there was no submit function, and that when you clicked the button it didn't send anything to the server..

Proving that the votes really don't count, and they really just have people look around the community on forums and fan mail and such, and see which are the most popular.

Proved how exactly? So your saying he decompiled it or something similar?

I wouldn't be surprised though if it was slightly rigged as it would save hassle, but it's nice to think that something might be honest.

PS. It averages out though if people click it several times, as the proportion would in theory be the same.

Yeah, he decomplied it using FD. He posted it on Penguin Posters a while ago while the voting for a new color was going on.

He showed us the code, and what it was missing in order for it to connect to the server.

Proving they don't actually count our votes.

Yeah, I know how annoyed you were when your vote for Cookie was ignored. :D

Just joking though, before you make some long post about how I was wrong to have a joke or whatever.

Not just that...

I wasted 5 pounds too, voting to get to go onto the show and see some guy, and they put on some actor.

No really though, these little kids who think that they might have chance, and then BBC go an do a pointless thing like this. It is rather shan on these children who asked there mummies if they could take out some money out of the money jar to vote.

And to answer you main question I heard, they got a new kitten called Cookie.

Rubbish name anyway, I prefer to name my pets more masculine, my two dogs, Fish and Chips...

EDIT: I like how youedited you post to post that, it's nice you see me as 'that type of guy' I want to be seen more as 'That fun guy' XD lol

:) That was more for people who didn't hear about the Blue Peter thing, as otherwise it would sound rather bad.

Just never take part in anything to do with Blue Peter as it's likely to be rigged. ;)

ITV is just as bad really, with discarding entries for financial reasons as they normally profit from the votes a lot more.

How long do you think we can derail this thread before a mod notices?

I don't know I really want to make a debate forum though.

BTW you've just insulted me there. I don't watch Blue Peter thus would never vote. :) lol

Also I copied you Location and edited it nicely.

EDIT: Read sig, if you accept my offer I will make you an Admin.
