Don't you guys hate it when you just want to change your neck item and have to click 15+ times to get there?

well i sure do, so i thought of a system that would let you change items in 2 to 3 clicks:

The Item Sorting System

What does it do?

1. you can sort items by the place you wear it: body, neck, hand,...

2. also you can choose to only view member items, or non member items

3. Create a drag and drop favorite items list

Why would this be handy?

1. no more clicking 15 times to wear your western bandana

2. for people who have been members but are now non member:
you can put view on nonmember so you dont have to see all the grey tinted member clothes..

Designed for?

everybody, but especially for the old penguins who have 200+ items

How Does It Work?

I know the edited pictures arent pixel perfect, but you get the idea of how it works..

It's the same system as the safe chat system:

1. just click on the view or sort by

2. Click the category you want to view

3. wear the item you want

I love this idea, cause when I need to get my neck items on, I have to do like, 20 clicks to get down there! Or to get shoes, I accidentaly over clikc, and have to go up 5 times again!

I support 100%! This is actually one of the best ideas I've heard in quite some time, and finally not one of those ideas suggesting non members deserve member clothes.

as you can see dannyboy its handy for penguins who have a lot of items.. the clicking to get a neck item is really annoying sometimes

as you can see some non members already have a great amount of items..

plus some of them have been a member, and they can still see their member clothes.. so its handy for them to.. so i would make this available for aveyone

I woul like to see some sort of quick way to sort through the clothing, although I think it would be too much to ask for an entire search system.

I think having buttons at the bottom for each 'layer' of clothing would be more practicle.

This is a great idea! With so many new items coming out every month, they need to make it quicker to get to the bottom of your inventory. It takes forever and people think I am ignoring them when I am only changing my outfit.

If they don't use this idea they should really consider adding a scrollbar or something similar. :)

creating a list is just a short query that can be written in access.. that only takes about half an hour..
and since they have so many employees i dont think it will be a problem:rolleyes:

What's so bad about checking dates? Who said he was just rnadomly going around the forums just to see when people joined, and when a thread was created? You were making it sound as if you made your idea first, so he checked the dates to see if you acciddentaly said his idea, or if he accidentaly said yours.



Anyways, this idea is really good (Every time i go through my items, I think more and more of how good this idea was, literally)
