This is probably for the people who read this that aren't a part of the forums here more than the people who actually post here. You will notice my Blogs tend to have lots more views than replies :P
Well today I was hanging out in CP like I do every so often waiting for the update to come out, going around sledding, playing Find Four, and ultimately ending up in my igloo. Well more often than before I've realized penguins answering the question "Why is Vital Viper crowded?" with "He is a Moderator" and i just want to make it very clear that I never claimed to be one and I do anything I can to correctly explain this (with no help from the filters or the rest of the speech bubbles that surround me).
I am only a moderator here on the forums, and even this is a volunteer position. I have no extra powers on the game and had most of my 'fame' even before I became a moderator here.
But don't get me wrong, I am truly honored that you consider me a good enough example of what it means to be 'penguin' that you would mistake me for a mod. It is credit that I don't deserve. The people who deserve the credit are the real mods that go around anonymously in order to keep CP the safe place we expect it to be. I may ask you what you think about updates but that doesn't mean I helped CP make them. The thanks for that goes out to all the designers and artists who work day in and day out to make CP an ever expanding fun place to have good clean fun.
I've considered sending in a resume but I guess I'm kinda intimidated, and although I don't live in Canada I don't have anything holding me back except for lack of funds. Former CP staff member Pendragon has even told me before that I would make a good moderator for CP. But I'm afraid my relations with the current CP staff here isn't all that great.
Well with that said I'd like to give all of the CP staff a big thank you for all you do and just to let you know your fans (including me) love you!

Just so you all here know, users with a BLUE NAME are from the actual Club Penguin company. Everybody else with an ORANGE NAME are just on the forum, and users with GREEN NAMES work for Miniclip.

When I first saw you crowded with penguins and they said you were a CP mod, I couldn't understand why a mod would be working on the ground so to speak rather than from a desk at Cp. So I thought, what a jerk! He pretends to me a mod!:O
It was ages before I knew it was to do with a forum!
I guess it's a common thing to assume.
It just goes to show that you should be careful who you listen to!

You'd make a perfect CP moderator. You have a natural sense of humour, your serious at times, and your very alert, and creative. You know what your talking about your very qualified. Why don't you try it'd be amazing to see someone like you making CP the same great place to play. Also, you'd be great with the younger members of Cp as well.

I agree with Lily, I think you would be a really good moderator because you have a very legitimate liking for the game, you are helpful, know alot, and you would actually be active.
Maybe so some people could actually see a Mod on CP. Also RFS' political attack video is hilarious XD.

Here are the exact Pendragon quotes I referred to just so nothing gets misunderstood:
Vital Viper is a Trainee Moderator on Miniclip Forums only.
He was never a moderator for Club Penguin, and he does not work for NHI.
Club Penguin moderators will never reveal that they are mods. They are not allowed to tell other penguin's that they are moderators. This is company policy.
Vital Viper has always been a very active part of the CP community and has recently rejoined the Miniclip forum team. We thank him for his dedication and continued support of Club Penguin.
Thanks for clearing that up Pendragon. Kids these days get the craziest ideas. I’m honored that they see my level of knowledge of Club Penguin to be up to par with that of a staff member but in no way want to take any recognition that is not mine. I would like to let everyone know that I look up to the Club Penguin staff just as they do and that despite my popularity here I’m no closer to being Club Penguin staff than they are.
I’m happy to be back as a part of the Miniclip forum team and am thrilled that Club Penguin allows me to continue to show them my dedication and support of such a great game.
-Vital Viper
I think you would make a wonderful moderator ;) Of course if you are interested, Club Penguin would be happy to review a resume. There are the basic requirements (over 18, living in Kelowna B.C), but the opportunity is there.
Nice paper for the first issue. I hope to read more soon ;)
Offtopic: Sweet, Vital may become a moderator? Well he is over 18, I hope you guys down there at Club Penguin approve his Resume ;)
Ah the decision isn't up to me, but the opportunity is open. In fact, it's available to anyone who's interested, as long as they meet our requirements.
If you are over the age of 18, are residing in Kelowna BC, Canada and you are interested, please send a resume to Club Penguin. We will be happy to review any submissions.
Please note that due to the way our company operates, it is not possible to hire moderators who do not live in Kelowna, BC. Sorry for the inconvenience.
I’ve (surprisingly) never seriously considered it. Needless to say lots of penguins have told me that I would make a good CP mod but I never took them seriously. I’ve always laughed to myself and thought “That would be nice.” I meet the over 18 requirement but I do live in America (although I’m not beyond the option of moving). I’ve always felt that I just didn’t belong around here, I have always wanted to travel but never had the money, lol. I doubt you guys would pay for the relocation of someone like me who isn’t applying to make games or art. I know you know all about being a mod and if you think I’m cut out for it than I’ll work on a résumé (Probably won’t be all that impressive, lol).

Hey Vital. What's Up? Just Wondering, Do You Ever Have People Hack On To Your Clubpenguin Account?
I had more of a problem with this back when I started but at one point I just made my password REALLY REALLY complex and have yet to have a problem.
Why would someone call you a mod if you don't have the pin thingy??BTW, how did they even find out about you??
Well there are actually only 4 mods who even have the pin :mod: thing. Most of the CP moderation staff isn't allowed to reveal the fact that they are even moderating, they just act like every normal penguin out there. So really and truly ANYONE out there could be a moderator!!! (just not me, I promise :P)
Hmm, I'm not sure how I was 'found out about' let alone what exactly what is to be found out about me. lol!
