This is a guide for Kingdom hearts 2. Sephiroth is said to be the hardest boss in the game but is actually easy if you know what to do. Here is what you do:
When the battle starts, sephiroth with shine for a second and will try to slash you. You must press triangle to block it. If you fail, sephiroth will dart past you and 10 slashes will hit you.
Once you knock down 3 health bars, he does new stuff like darkballs and firewalls. The only hard part is that the fire wall sucks you in. If you get dragged in, you'll take a lot of damage, plus you'll be dragged in 3 more times. Once you finally take down 7 of health bars, he will glow purple and teleport somewhere in the air and will bring meteors on you. after all this, you'll be able to knock down all his 12 health bars.
When you start, you can have any items on but I'd recommend high attack and defense rings. There are 3 keyblades you should use:
Ultima weapon
oblivion
fatal crest
