In an effort to keep everyone' (http://i21.tinypic.com/21jvrjs.jpg)s attention I promise there are at least three cute reptiles in this post somewhere.
If you are reading this post then CONGRATULATIONS you are one step closer to finding out why I am posting this.
I don't know what has been going on but lately a lot of you are ceasing to take note of this phenomenon scientists like to call "pinned threads". These threads are different than other threads because they are so special they are given magical powers that force you to look at them every time you visit one of the forums here.
I also think a lot of you haven't read the Forum Rules which state as the very first rule (and as I quote):
► LOOK AT THE PINNED THREADS. While this page talks about regular forum rules, some places have "special rules" (such as only having one club or team). Usually these "special rules" are pretty short and there's only one or two of them. Please make sure that you take notice of pinned threads, they are very helpful!
On top of that, a lot of pinned threads are given the "ALERT" thread tag (http://penguinforum.miniclip.com/images/icons/moderator_alert.gif). PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS MINICLIP TAKE NOTE OF THESE THREADS. Read them again if you haven't in a while. Believe it or not they answer common questions and even tell you what you aren't supposed to do in specific forums. - Posting new threads in Programming Penguins without a demo. (http://penguinforum.miniclip.com/showthread.php?t=19442)
- Posting ideas in Posting Games II that are explicitly labeled "DO NOT SUGGEST". (http://penguinforum.miniclip.com/showthread.php?t=30597)
- Asking for help about the forums in the Club Penguin Game Support forum. (http://penguinforum.miniclip.com/showthread.php?t=390)
- Posting ideas or questions about the forums in the CP Suggestions forum. (http://penguinforum.miniclip.com/showthread.php?t=29297)
- Posting threads asking how to use your profile. (http://penguinforum.miniclip.com/showthread.php?t=85)
- Posting more than one CP club or team. (http://penguinforum.miniclip.com/showthread.php?t=30592)
This kind of thing is easily preventable if people would just pay more attention. In an effort to do so, for the next undisclosed amount of time I may be possibly giving out more than just infractions to people who ignore advice and ignore pinned threads. These threads answer all common questions, including how to use avatars and signatures. I have not seen one thread in the history of this forum that has asked an avatar/signature question that was not already answered in that thread. (http://i22.tinypic.com/65vhc2.jpg)
