Yes, it came back in the '07 Summer Party. It was originally released in the '06 Summer Party when I was around.

I never did like repeats, even if they were in a different color.

I'd prefer not to have a repeat even if I didn't have the item yet. So basically all repeat items is my answer.

I'm not saying I hate them, I just don't like 'em.

Yep, the Red Bandana. I really like the Red Bandana, but then the Red Bandana came back I since that day, I never used my Red Bandana anymore. I still like it, but I don't wear it...:P

they are penguins that joined later, and they DO want the items to be repeated. I joined in May 2007 so I would really love to have some items that were in the past.
I strongly support you about the Catalog items. Once they're in one catalog, they should never ever come back!
Also the Anniversary Party hats should never come back.

you maybe happy but i have played cp since 12th may 06
my first item was the mining hat .you'll be happy a rare item came back but dont you think about the penguin who already have that item. i mean look at harrak and ali. they've been the been some who have the orange helmet and still plays cp, bu then guess what cp decide to release it. now every second penguin you see is wearing that helmet.
lets think about in your case. what if they decide to release this mining helmet next year. it wont be rare anymore. wouldn't you be upset. so if you're going to be upset think about all those to had it from 06

I think the whole idea of bringing back free items is bad whether its member or non member

I don't really care about pixels too much, and I haven't been around that long. The only item that came back that I had was the eyepatch, really.
