Spem's Diary

Entry 3
Dear Diary,
It seems that a lot of users are misunderstanding the meaning of my name.
Since I have a headache, I do not feel like giving you the 411 on it, but I will describe it the best I can.
*Insert Memory Flashback Here*
As a young Christian child, I was not exposed to foul language at all. It wasn't until two years ago (At the age of 12) that I started to hear language used by adults and teenagers.
That is a little far ahead, so let's back up a bit.
Two years ago I first joined Club Penguin. Please note that this was after the first year aniversary party.
I was interested in joining this virtual world. However, I could not think of a name for my cute little fuzzy wuzzy pixelated image of a penguin. So I started thinking. "I want my name to be something different. A name unlike any other."
So of course I start brain storming. Every username that I considered started with an "S." Which at the time, was the first letter in my best friend's name. "Star... Spotted Mouse... Smooth Rock... Spib.... Speb.... Sped... Spem!"
I had a difficult time coming up with my name.
So pretty much back then, I wanted to invent a new word to use as my username. Please understand that I had no idea what "Spem" was close to spelling. At the time, I was not even sure about anything I heard.
So in the end, here was the meaning of "Spem."
Spem - An animal that, like certain animals, can adapt to their surroundings by changing colors. An animal that adapts very well to their surroundings, and consists of unique body colors and adaptations.
Now, back to the present day. A few months ago whenever I was granted moderator status, I decided to change my username to "Guardian Squared." This way, new users would not misunderstand my name and it's two year origin. Unfortunately, some users were asking who I was and what happened to Spem. So I went back to my original name.
Like Vital Viper, here is a quote.
"Don't try changing yourself. The unique and different qualities you contain make up your existance." - Spem
Ugh, now the headache is back. I am sorry I can not enlighten you more on this, but I must rest my head. That... and I am trying to eat a sandwich and it is kind of hard typing and eating a piece of heaven at one time.
Cya later Diary!
