I'm American. I'm an Honor-Roll Student. So I'm stupid? I'm white. I have common sense, I have a life (Girlfriend :P) and I have decency. Everyone in my town, black or white, is welcoming and nice. You're just at a bad part of the US ;)

Yeah, I wasn't talking about you I was talking about every other white person that I've ever met. Except for my dad, mom and aunt. I guess so. But it just seems like everyone in my town or the four other places I have lived weren't very welcoming or had a sense of decency. I say it because I am losing hope for americans, not because I think that every black american is a good person or because I think that every white american is a bad person. It's just an observation.

Yeah, but it just seems that white people think (Most of them, I'm not talking about anyone on these forums.) that they're better or more superior to other racial groups. You could be right.

Yes SOME white people are like that. My last family reunion was on my dad's side(white) out in ohio. We all went to Cedar Point(theme park) and people were giving us dirty looks and treated us rude the whole time. They treated us like we were some type of freaks because we were an interracial family. Racism is certainly not dead.

I'm half-Chinese, a quarter white, and a quarter Hispanic; and I am rarely, if ever, bothered. No one gives me dirty looks. No one cares one way or the other here. I guess, it could be a little different some places in the South; but I've even been to small towns in the South; and it's great. I can count on my fingers the number of times people have harrassed; and most of those occurred waaaay back when I was little.

Um...It's not just one guy, there's millions of them, I have met nice white people before, that were kind and inviting, BUT the people that were mean and white outnumbered BY FAR the ones that were nice. I'm not gonna condemn the whole being white (Partly because I am one. :P) because I know that their are nice white people out there that I still have not met. I have met mean black people before, but the nice black people far outnumbered the mean ones does that mean I'm going to think that just because your black you're a nice person? No, I didn't say that, I said that I know more nice black people then I do nice white people, you ASSUME I judge people by their color. I don't judge you till I know you. I know more nice black people then I do nice white people, I'm adding two and two together for an assumption, not a fact.

The reason I think that some white people don't like black people and some black people don't like white people is because they think the opposite hates them or wants to hurt them, and so they think that they need to protect themselves. Sometimes for good reasons and sometimes for bad reasons.

As I read each of your posts I began thinking back to the memory when my dad(white) and my mom (black) were together I believe I was 7 as I sped through the mall prancing and singing my own little song. People began to stare, and stare even the old man walking down the hallway. Suddenly, I began to wonder what's wrong with me or my daddy or my mommy. Later I found out the truth about what racism was and the explanation was clear.
