(10-22-7) My WINDY Day

Well today was pretty cool, quite literately. Despite being in Texas we had a cold front come through. No rain for me but BOY WAS THERE WIND. It was blowing so hard I could hardly even keep my truck going straight. When I got to school and made the long walk in the wind into the main section of campus I thought I had put the wind behind me and it would possibly die down. I was wrong. About 5 Minutes into my Business Math class (a computer class) all of the sudden... POWER OUTAGE :D . The teacher held us for about ten minutes but when it didn't come back on and we found out that the entire island lost power we were allowed to leave. The traffic was killer and the traffic lights were out because they run on electricity. On my way out I took some pictures of all the waves coming ashore, it was beautiful. You can also see all the traffic in my side mirror.

Wind wouldn't start fires but it will spread them. I feel sorry for those people out in California.

There were plenty of cars in front of me to stop that from happening. I did manage to snap the shot at just the right time though :P

Actually, it's a bay on a gulf which then filters to an ocean, which means if you get swept out to sea, you still have a chance of getting caught at Florida or the Bahamas before being swept in an ocean, whereas Honey just plain gets swept into an ocean. ;) So it's compleeeetely different. Yes. :P

Yeah, it is a different ocean; but Honey's point was that you had an ocean to swim in or look at. Honestly, staring out at it, you really can't tell that it's not an ocean from this vantage point so it really doesn't matter, thus my sarcasm, which went right over Honey's head.... -_-

Yes, yes, I live in Texas, too. But I was born here. Although, I did live in Hong Kong for four and a half years and in Beijing for one year. (Pitiful place that Beijing was. Hong Kong was okay. It's not Texas; but it's okay. Can't stand the rude people, though.)

I try to make interesting igloos and that would be really cool if you could let friends open it when i'm not on. I may be redecorating soon but I'm not sure what I want to do. Is the X-Mas Music getting old? I still like it.

I'll give you some pointers when it comes to posting.

The text that we put in our posts from other users are called quotes. Simply go to the post that you want to reply to a click the quote button in the bottom right had corner of their post. There is also a small square button right next to it that turns red when you click it, that is the multi quote feature so you can quote multiple people. just turn all the posts you want to quote red and then hit post reply like normal! As for editng posts you can actually edit your own, lol. As a mod though I have magic powers and can edit almost whatever I want. The edit button will be right next to the quote button on every post you make. Also don't double post!!! That can and will get you an infraction, and if you get 5 of those you will be banned forever. Don't worry I fixed your current double post and you can feel free to edit your post.

Thanks! I have the name as I love Bond movies and I have even met Jaws out of them. Ya know the guy with the teeth. He was at a theatre in London and me and my friends and him started talking. Kinda funny! Would have prefered it to have been the new Bond guy but never mind!
I do love the way I get called Honey by all the guys though! hehe! Girls tend to call me Double O which kinda sounds cool to!;)

Anyway, I digress. I am usually on Mammoth but these days I'm avoiding it a lot in spite of certain people ruining my fun. We could meet up if you like. It's always nice to meet a pengy that I can have a decent conversation with. Especially if you get my humor...many don't!
