no it wasnt.
The only scarf that was a free item was the chrismas scarf back in christmas 2005

Yes and i dont think its a coincidence. nothing on club penguin happens by chance.

are you refering to the pins and party hats or the items? ALL items will come back in the same colour some time.

Yeah, I can see how that would be misleading. He should have worded it differently, but what he meant was that it would be like any other party item is. Party items are more rare than clothing catalog items are, but as you've seen, even some party items have come back before.

At the time, it was an instruction to anyone who reads the blog that if you want to get the party item, you'd better be there sometime that weekend.

If it helps at all, there's no plans right now for when either propellor cap would come back... I highly doubt you'll see any of those given away again until at least next April.

you cant avoid it, every club penguin item will return in its original colour some day.

It might come back this year if CP is brave enough to recieve the hate mail from the angry old penguins that got it back then! :D:P
