(10-15-7) Thoughts on Mod Blog

Hello All,

Yea I know, two blogs from me on the same day I'm killing this thing aren't I? Well The other blog just so happen to be at like 1 AM so give me a break :roll:

If it isn't obvious by now, I liked the idea of the mod blog. First off because I'm a mod and I get to use/abuse this feature to my hearts content. I also like it because it allows you as an average forumer to realize we are REAL people!!! Vital Viper is actually some guy out there in the real world and NOT actually a penguin with a cape. What a shocker right?

Right now the human Vital Viper (AKA Nick) is in the Texas A&M Corpus Christi Library between two of his classes. Out of most popular penguins I probably get the most 'respect' as a real person because of my age. If you don't know by now I'm 20 years old, young by normal standards but considered an elder around these parts. But enough about that.

Well in an attempt to use the mod blog in all it's glory I want to answer your questions! In the replies to this mod blog I want you to not only give your thoughts about the mod blog, but also ask me any questions you want. I'll take the questions and answer them (in blog form) in the future. It can be anything from "How did you become popular on CP?" to "What did you eat for dinner last night." I'll pick the ones I feel are worth answering (and don't give too much away about my personal info cause that is dangerous, right?) which will give you some insight into person behind the well selected user name.

I'm going to go ahead and say this again, don't ask for personal information. The last thing I want is to give out my address and have hundreds of you guys find it on Google Earth to look at the roof of my house :roll:

One of the main reasons I made this "blog" area is because on a lot of forums people think of the staff like police officers that don't do anything except tell people what to do... which isn't the case.

Anyways I've got a question for ya:
How have you been liking these Club Penguin forums, and are they better or worse than our old ones?

You know me and how much I like talking about myself. :P Now I can even do it without harsh criticism from someone who isn't around anymore *cough* QAZAR *cough*.

I think it is obvious (even to the community) that I am less of a police officer and more of a celebrity/role model. I can't remember the last time I banned someone partly because I don't do it allot and probably more because my bad memory. :P That doesn't mean I'm doing my job it just means that I'm much more forgiving and understanding. I also haven't been on near as much as I use to be.

As for the question, you'll have too look forward to future blogs and see if I bring that topic up. The more people who ask the same questions the more likely they are to be written on. I'm expecting "Why are you popular?" or "Why do you play a game designed for kids?" to be the front runners.

But seriously now, how did you ever come up with your name?
I'm currently wearing my Louisburg College SGA T-Shirt which is a normal basic blue with a white insignia thingy in the upper left front with the letters SGA in big white fancy letters on the back. I wear blue jean shorts allot but these are some of my darker ones, but it is also important to note the fact that they are nearly 4 sizes too big so they are accompanied by a belt that is close to 2 sizes too big :P I have lost weight I guess. As for footwear I have basic low cut socks and a pair of USCG government issued New Balances that have sentimental value and a tight fit.

I wanna know how in HELL do you have time to go to college and Mod this crazy forum?? You work besides?? My cuz is a sophmore at USC, doesn't work and says he barely has time to breathe. I'm going to Yale (yay me) in a couple of years, soooo....what's the skinny on school vs work.;) I'm going to have to work there, too.

Good question.

I wouldn't say I do one more than the other and I value both roles. I do plenty of moderating (trust me) and most of my celeb stuff is through holding huge parties on CP. I don't even post them on the forum.

As for why I am a mod you will have to take that up with RFS, although I expect it was because of my desire to help the CP community. I was the very first new mod here on the CP forums.

At first CP didn't want me to be a mod here, but they changed their minds after awhile.

But for the record I actually do try not to let my popularity get in the way of my responsibilities as a mod.

Welcome to the forums.

The first thing I would suggest would be to read the rules.

I often add people from the forums but I don't like to add people who don't follow the rules. if you become a respectable poster here and make a name for yourself I will be happy to add you. (please don't beg)
