I seriously prefer the Japanese version. The American version cuts out too much blood and fighting and the actual plot. Overall, it's a great show, but there is 20 minutes of flashbacks and five and a half minutes of preparing for a fight.

It started getting boring near the end, Shippuden is much better and there taller too :).

It would may actually be a good show if they we didn't have to deal with all of the filler episodes at times. If you're not watching the japanese with subs version, then you're missing out on the real action. Overall, it's a good anime, but definatly not the best out there.

I was pretty sure that Paine/Pein/Pain was the leader of the Akatsuki with Konan. Tobi was the trainee, I am pretty sure? If I am wrong, please correst me. But in past manga I have seen that someone named Paine/Pein/Pain was the leader and Tobi was Madara Uchiha.

I think after reading the whole thread you should not have added the "NO" option. this allows certain critics to begin their criticism in the most irrational way. Due to the fact that Naruto is a rather controversial anime I would have a reason to think that it would lead to a flame war

Ive watched three episodes (about) and they all talk and throw insults then fight for like 30 seconds then repeat again and every 10 shows they have a big fight. same stuff over and over again. its stupid and a waste of life to all those who dress up like their from the tv show. nuh-uh. dont do that.

I love love love it! I really enjoy Sasuke. He's so serious & complex to figure out, you don't know what he's going to do next. I am really intrigued by that. I also love Sakura, she's so sweet & gentle and I can totally relate to her guy problems. I like Naruto, for his untapped power, Naruto is a surprise. I just love this show.

Orochimaru: the snake Sanin who abandoned the leaf village after killing many for experiments, killed the third hokage, and did many other things.

Just wanted to say...

Sasuke isn't exactly evil. He only seeks the power to gain his revenge on Itachi.

Gaara only tried killing them because it was an order to do so. Gaara is much friendlier now.

Orochimaru did not kill the third. The third used a sealing jutsu, which killed him but also immoblized Orochimaru's arms. Unfortunately, when Orochimaru took over a new body, that jutsu became pointless, however it did save the Leaf Village.

YES! I like Gaara and Sasuke, even though Sasuke's with Irochimaru blahblahblah IDONTCARE! He's awesome anyway. I really need to get back into the series. I last watched when it was like forever ago with like... Gaara demon thing and perved guy(forgot his name) and when Itachi took out Guy and watshername with the other one of the Seven Swordsman not Zabuza(he's awesome though). So I never even got to the part where Sauske goes to Irochimaru so I'm waaaaayyyy behind. I saw part 1 ep 1 of Shippuden :D but i never even got into Shippuden although it's awesome.:D
