I did the test just to get a new item lol
I don't even make tours, new penguins learn most of the things by themselves.

Well I think most users were so excited about it being new that they got tired of doing it. I think that if someone needed a tour all they would have to do is ask and someone will be glad to give them one. I just don't think people are gonn stand in the plaza anymore holding the sighn up. Don't worry tour guides are still out there.

More people would do it more if there was a reward for each tour that you gave. Not just the hat for signing up.

nah maybe a week. Youd still see them then, but not often.

Also, I thin its because tour guides tried and it didnt work. I try giving newbies a tour and then i cant find them lol

The Tour Guides were introduced to give penguin's a chance to welcome new players.

Sometimes it is hard for a new player to feel welcome, so it is nice when a Tour Guide offers to show them around town.

If you have played Club Penguin for a very long time, then most of the tour information will already be known to you. However, not everyone has played for that long, so it is nice when other penguin's offer to help.

tour guides would have worked if the limit was 150-200 days old, then only experienced players would be able to give a tour, and tours would be much more exciting:!:

also old player know better things:)

usually old players know lots of things like glitches and mini-games tricks, when the point of the tour guide is to introduce new penguins to the cp island, to get to know the basics you dont need to 200 days old.

Ya but in most of the American servers like Mammoth, theres no tours going on. Probably because there are no new penguins there, way to full for non-members.

some tour guides mislead noobs into thinking different things like they can hack for things of you can tip the ice berg. Thats why in the near future, we'll have a colony of unstoppable noobs.

Nope, one was the dock, and He/She said "Go to the Beach" when we were in the Plaza, how is that a tour, lol?

To be honest, the tour guide idea was a complete faliure. At first when they first came out the plaza would hold up their signs in the plaza, but now theirs hardly anyone doing it.

Club Penguin have already made a Tutorial and some guides on their website so there wasn't really any point in making the tour guide option.

Well im not surprised... Every new useless club penguin thing ends like this. Remember puffle walking? one week and POOF! no one walked puffles anymore.. or like thin ice game? Penguins played and played til they get bored.. there are only few things that u dont get bored: Making money from money games, Decorating igloo, exploring new things buying clothes and waiting new catalog or party ;) Thats the way of normal club penguin member..

I don't give tours as much anymore. I still do the occasional group of penguins or "pin tour" when people ask me to.

Nowadays, with all the Polish people who have immigrated to the UK, it's much more useful to help out at the coffee shop with the Polish penguins. You can have a good experience learning a new language. I've learned enough to help most people out.
