My best friend's dad just died and he was always so nice to me. The funeral is Friday. I want to go because he was a really cool guy, but the funeral is at 1:00. Friday is a really special day at school that I've been looking forward too for almost a year! And if I leave to go to the funeral I'll miss it all! I don't know what to do! Any suggestions?

Go to the funeral. That's what I would do. What is the thing at school you would miss?

You have over a hundred more days to have fun at school, and only one chance to attend your best friend's father's funeral.

Clearly this is an easy choice.

Go to the funeral, your friend could hate you if you didn't.
Once, at my school, i missed something that was very important to me... It was a day that explained to kids what happens when two parents like each other. I was looking forward to that for three years, and I missed it unfortunetly(it was flu season). But I can't say that I missed much. You should go to the funeral.

I have a feeling that if you DON'T go to the funeral, you'll only deeply regret it later. What is it you've been looking forward to?

I usually tend to not want to go to fuenerals, too depresing, but I ususally suck it up and show my respects.

I would attend the funeral. It may not be as enjoyable as a fun day in school, but you will still make your friend happy by showing that you are dignified enough to pay your respects to someone he loves.

Meh, school? There couldn't be anything special enough there to miss your best friend's father's funeral.

If you decide to not go, no matter what, you're going to deeply regret it later on. Did you tell your friend you'll be there?

I feel like this at my grandmas and grandpas funeral. I dont go in the room with the body. I hate when people die. It's to sad for me. I'll come out once in a while. But my tears just stain the floor.

I say go to the funeral. At school you won't have any fun because that would be on your mind.

If you watch the Fairly Odd parents, theres an episode about guilt. Thats what you will get. You will feel really bad and think it was dumb of you to do it. Then for this, you can NEVER get it off your chest.

Thanks guys, I guess I should go to he funeral. At school its basically just a day of fun. They give you a list of things to choose from, and then you go to it for the whole day. And then after school there's a dance.
