I work a bit during summer holidays, usually taking care of kids in summer camps. The amount of money I get depends.

However, and since I need money during school time, I'm going to start giving english help classes to some friends. 5 euros an hour.:)

I'm 14 so I don't think it's legal to get an official job. When I can get a job, I'll probably apply to a grocery store, or maybe Starbucks.

I just turned 16, so I'm looking to get my first job soon. I had a few unofficial jobs in the past summer, watering plants, babysitting, washing cars, and some others.

Unofficial?

Well, for "off the record" work I manage website stuff for my cousin from time to time. I am paid $5 for each database that I set up (she sells books, expensive rare old books). I also create small bits of content for advertisement firms, each paying between $2 - $10 each. On rare occasions I go to work with my dad and tear stuff down for $10 an hour.

And of course I sell things on eBay (or through the Trading Post forum on RFSHQ).

Yeah, but that is just all the stuff that I do where I am not legally "on document" with anyone.

If you mean real jobs, I spend some days working at a movie theater and I also do what I'm doing right now. ;)

That's weird. I get free anything at the movies as long as it's not prepackaged (like the candy or bottled water). I can have free popcorn, nachos ( ), hot dogs, and pretzels... and you get tired of it after a while. :P

Except soft pretzels. I eat those by the pound just about.

I wouldn't eat at KFC. :P I don't eat at most fast food places just because they're all kind of gross.

Over the summer I did have a job, but now that school and other things have gotten in the way im taking a break.

What I was sweep this huge cabinet shop and help around the shop. I got around 7 dollars an hour and I worked about 4 nights a week for about 3 or 4 hours.

It was pretty good. I enjoyed getting 50, 60 dollar checks.

Ya, a paper route. It sucks, but I'm only keeping it so I can get a computer, which I'm probably getting sometime this week.

I'd rather work at a golf course or something, but I am too young right now.(You have to be 14 to get an "official" job.

Well, my only job right now is being a full time student. Mom and Dad want me to get a real part time job but, juggling school and a job seems too hard for me...

Yes, but I don't get paid. Not that I care, it's a job I enjoy doing, so I could care less how much I get paid for it: I moderate PenguinPosters. :)
