How does it make you feel when you hurt someone's feelings?
Today I had a fight with my mom about snacks. She buys snack foods for lunches, but I wanted one just for a snack. She said in an annoyed tone "No, they're for lunches at school!". That made me really mad. So I yelled at her, and said "Well what if I want one just for a snack?!". "Don't yell at me!". Then I began mocking her, and my dad stepped in on my behalf. When it was all over, she felt like a fool. I was satisfied at the time, but then later I felt really bad about it and apologized to her.
When I hurt someone's feelings, I usually feel clever and witty at the time, but later, feel really bad for them.

Depends on who it is.
Family/friends: I feel horrible later.
Other: Don't care.

It kind of depends what I do.
Most of the time I dont care, but if I see it is really bothering them, then it bothers me too and I feel bad.

Same here. Whenever I have a quarrel and I say spiteful words to hurt the other person's feelings, I often feel like a victor, then later I feel bad, and realize what a loser I was. However, if I hurt the feelings of someone who had always been very bad to me, well, I don't really care.

If I hurt someone's feelings, I generally feel bad about it unless that particular someone has been treating me terribly.
Although, I'm the kind of person who likes to joke around a lot; so my friends, family, and anyone else who knows me understands where I'm coming from when I make jokes. Because of that, they don't exactly get offended by me. (I guess that would be another case when I wouldn't feel bad.)

Depends if it really hurt my family/friends. If it does then I would feel really bad about it after I've done it and then apologize to them. If it doesn't hurt them, then I won't apologize unless I feel guilty about it.

I feel bad about it, unless said person was TRYING to annoy me.

Well, with my mom I always apologize unless she apologizes first. With my dad I never apologize because he usually starts it or he was asking for it. I usually never feel bad about it. It's sorta hard to hurt my parents feelings, it's like trying to hurt Goliath or something.
With anybody else I argue or fight with I bottle it up for a couple days then I just forget about it.

I always feel bad, It seems that I always have to be nice to people though. Like if some nerd starts following me talking about naruto (a show That I say the last 3 minutes of... once) But it seems that I always have to listen. If I don't, I feel mean because I made the nerd/annoying person feel like they don't have any friends-_-. So Ya my life sucks like that sometimes...

Depends, if the person in question was aggravating me, then no.

I generally don't talk to anyone, so yeah.
But in the arguements I do get into, I end up apologizing for.

Yea, I always feel really bad. -_- Probably because I'm a good person. :D
I had a similar situation happen to me today. There's this girl in my homeroom and she has no friends. Everyone says how ugly she is, especially the boys (even though they're my friends). In PE I had a chance to stick up for her, but I knew I would look like a loser so I didn't say anything. I thought I was doing the right thing, but I feel horrible about it.

If it is a friend, then ya, but sometimes I just do it for fun but they already know that is the only reason for it.
With enemies it is a different story. It feels good to argue with enemies.

I try only to fight when needed. Like a kid at my girlfriend's school keeps calling me homosexual and he's making no sense. So, if I ever see him, Down Goes Frazier!

I fight with my mom and threaten to move out in search of my dad. Then she shuts her mouth and gives me a cookie :D
Half the time, we're fighting about her annoying me, and how she thinks I'm on crack. The other half of the time, it's about something I did...like go on PeopleFinder and search for my dad :|

I am totally in love with your avatar. Sorry, I'm offtopic  Uhm...once, this girl totally backstabbed me and tried to snap my arm in half :O she moved to the other side of town, but her half-brother (AKA, 15 year old-8th grader-crackhead-smoker-drinker-father to older sister's baby-creepy-perv) is on my bus. I'm terrified of him. He shoved me into a locker. :(But then Stephen gave him a low blow :D

I go out of my way to avoid hurting peoples' feelings. Uggh, it makes me feel awful when I do. The only people I argue with are my mum and my sis. Just living in clolse proximity with them year after year really bugs me, hah. I never have any issues with people who aren't related to me.

Whenever I see someone being made fun of, I generally feel bad for that person. Or like when a team is playing another team in an athletic event, I feel sorry for the team that loses. Idk why!! I guess it's just how I am
