Who here was read The Golden Compass, and can't wait to see the movie!! I just finnished the book and I have started on the second book of the His Dark Material trilogy, The Subtle Knife.

The Golden Compass is by Phillip Pullman. If you liked The Smoke, you should try reading The Golden Compass next.

I've read and finished all but the last one, I have like twenty five pages to go..I'm hoping to finish it by the end of today. Yeah, the books are really good, the first one was the best of course but after the first one it gets pretty weird..not in a bad way of course, just a weird way. You'll know what I'm talking about after you've finished the second one.

I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE MOVIE. I'm so dying.

I read that book for summer reading this year. It took a long time to get good... but after about 5 chapters in, i was addicted... Cant wait for December!

I loved this book. I am currently re reading it right now again by chance. It does take awhile to get through, but it is worth it.
