1. Dating
I belive the worst thing cp done yet was put in the heart emote. I get spammed by the heart emote daily from those kids who date a complete stranger who may be a 41 year old.

2. Interfeiring with a rare item.

Its so annoying when some noob gose up and sits on the new object sometimes a pin. So I click him and not the item. I belive it should be a rule NOT TO DO IT.


Here is a new idea. How about you get to play the game with everything for 2 weeks then you have to pay to play or find a new game like most mmorpgs. Clubpenguin favors free players alot. I can give all of you 100m rs gp if the next party is for free players + members.

I don't care what people do! Children would know that you can't buy yourself a date from the internet! I do think that there's there literally no reason for this.

Regarding the first "rule", it is now virtually impossible to actually hold a conversation with a child predetor, and if you are annoyed by the hearts, then just leave the room. Simple as that.

For the second so called "rule" since you know where the new item/pin is and if someone is blocking it from your reach, you could right-click your mouse over where the item is, then left click anywhere on the game, then you should walk to the item.

Both are annoying I know, but I find no real reason for the first rule, the second could fit into the report category of "being rude".

They should not really be classified as rules, because not only are they both nearly impossible to enforce (unless a user who uses the 'heart' emoticon recieves an automatic perma-ban), they are easy to avoid; simply ignore what is going on around you. Players should have the freedom to explore new horizons on the game and have their own free will

I don't see how those are going to be made into "rules," though. If you see someone doing something inappropriate, you report them. When you do report someone, it comes up with an option that you can choose if the user was blocking an item. There's also an option to choose if someone is "sexually harassing" you. Putting up the heart sign isn't considered sexual harassment, but you get the point.

If you see someone showing the heart, ignore them. If they're doing something "worse that that," report them. Simple as that.

Yes, I agree, dating is dumb, cause, it's kinda pothetic if you want to be a couple on the computer, it's cause you can't get a guy or girl for yourself in real life, so you have to have a virtrual one, and it's not meant for a kids game.

And then yeah, I also agree with the no sitting on pins thing, the game should make an invisible wall thing around the pins, so when you go up to it, it won't let you go on it, but it asks if you want it, so people can get it, and others can't sit on it.

Yes, but you missed my point I was saying you COULD NOT stop hormones, I don't think those hormones should show up in a game designed for children either, well at least for the children, but for those old enough that they have reached puberty, I don't understand why it is a problem, if they're old enough, mature enough, and smart enough to have an online boy/girlfriend. As long as they don't go having a online relationship with that younger less mature person, I don't get what the big deal is. And I don't find any reason to ban them.
But the real world is a lot more nerve wrecking when it comes to dating, and that's why it's more easier to do it online. Because you can be the most shy person in the real world but you can talk to someone on the internet with less pressure. Do ya' understand?

If the pin is small, and you are actually searching for it rather than having already heard about it, you may not see it since someone is standing on it! There are ways of implementing rules in the programming that you are automatically transported away from the area of the pin after a few seconds so that anyone can get to it.

Dating IS dumb, I totally agree (I am referring to CP only, of course). There is a difference between getting to know someone and pretending to date, which as we know tends to lead to other things (at least in real life). If you want to get to know a buddy, don't pretend you're going out on a date.

Dating isn't for CP, CP isn't a "dating game". 7-year olds (and even 12-year olds) don't want to come to a game where veryone's talking about sex related activities, or even dating, which tends to lead up to that if a relationship gets good.

What you seem to be implying is that we can't CONTROL anything when it comes to hormones, as in we have no power but to oblige to every urge that enters our brain when it comes to hormones. 100% WRONG. You have a brain, so use it. You (should) have self-control. Use that too. Now, understand that just because dating is fine, that it doesn't mean it is fine on a game.

1. People start dating, using hearts, and then eventually trying to get a relationship.
2. The extreme may happen, and suddenly they are telling each other their REAL telephone # or address
3. CP starts getting news of this disaster (and bad reputation on their game), so starts making stricter and stricter rules on the filters, to the point where I quit the game (but not the forums, necessarily), and I think many others are as well.
SO, now the game is not nearly as much fun because you never know if what you say actually shows up on everyone else's screen or not, because CP staff fear people getting in touch with each in real life, which, although it might be fine, most cases it can end in a disaster.

As for the pins, just click somewhere on the wall above it and report the person/people who are blocking it.

And also for the pins why not take a Minute or Two to switch servers? I mean even if you do report the blocker the Admin and Moderators don't get it till about an hour after you report him/her, because others report thier problems too and the staff try to help them =l.

What I'm saying with the hormone thing is that you cannot force somebody to not date or to not do this or to not do that. Because that's their business, and not yours. This isn't about self control this is about curiousity which you cannot stop either.
