This was originally going to be this final version of the game.

Instead of critisizing the game, if you would like to help me make better graphics I would be more than happy to let you help me. Infact, I would be VERY HAPPY.

BEFORE YOU DISS MY GAME READ THIS> THE GRAPHICS DON'T SUCK THE GAME IS DESIGNED FOR A 22in DIAGONAL SCREEN. THE GRAPHICS GET ALL SCRUNCHED UP IF YOUR MONITOR IS TOO SMALL. The movie is done, The problem is game maker didn't like the movie file I told it to play so I just put it in a folder along with the game.

The reason your computer lagged so much is not my fault. Your monitor is probably small. It's designed for a 22 In screen. You missed a lot of actions and events, and cant be that bad, There are plenty of things to do, I'm sorry you hate my game. :(

Sorry dude, it's horrible. A monitor's size doesn't cause lag, thats just the stupid game. Like Madfly pointed out, its very basic. Paint graphics are horrible the way you used them, they're all pixely and scrunched up. A monitor doesn't effect graphics. If you'd like me to mail the dell company and ask them, I will.

Look, if you want to tear up computers by making them load the game, fine. Leave me out of it. And if my computer scan (that I'm doing now) detects a virus, I'll have LOTS more to say. :|

You know sarcasim is not really sarcasim on the computer unless it's un a webcam, anyway getting back to topic, it's a game thats all to say.

Now about small screens and bad graphics.

When you have a big image getting to a smaller size, most resizers either do an average of pixels the new pixel represents, or it does a select one drop a few method. Both of these normally won't destroy the graphic quality.

There is no need to over compliment me. The graphics are not terrible like you said, and they're not the best, either. I would suggest setting to a lower screen resolution.
Maybe you're computer is too old, has too many downloads, or something like that. When I tested my game, It worked just fine.

It's not even a year old, and it has alot of memory, but that has nothing to do with how good graphics are. Post a pic of what it looks like on your screen.

I also had to use windows paint for half of the game because my trial version expired on my good program.

P.S I disabled the X button so you have to use the one in the game. ;)
The turkey is actually a very strange penguin.(you can talk to people by clicking on them If you didn't know)

When I saw how much memory it was using to run the program, I about pooped myself. 382,032 K! Most program use somewhere between 400 and 9,000. But 382,032? I'm lucky my computer didn't crash, not to be rude.

You said you were in a rush to release it. I can tell you that, from experience, that's one of the worst things to do when you're creating a game. When I created Waddles, I got tired of working on it and pretty much made it playible and released it. Not a good idea. Looking back, I should have just taken a break from it for a while.

To put in the nicest terms possible, I was very dissapointed. When I downloaded the game, my PC crashed twice, then it finally began. "Wait, it will be worth is." My PC crashed again. Finally, after 20 minutes, I started the game.
Pros:
-I didn't have a seizure

-Crashed my PC 3 TIMES
-I began waddling, and the sprite began to vibrate violently.
-I tried saving, and my penguin began thrashing violently.

It looked decent enough. I think it looked great, and so far i've seen only the YoYo Games Previews. I don't think I'll be dissapointed when I play it. :)

I saw the memory like Rod saw. I wasnt going to download this to my labtop. I looked at coments, and the screenshot. Then I was sure I wasnt going to try it. O dear, thats about all it gets but i will expand :)

I downloaded the game, shocker,
Game then came to loading screen and it said "it will be worth it" lol, nice one;)
My penguin then started going mental, quickly going from side to side, by the way the penguins side it very flat:|
I then finally, after 3 minutes managed to get to another room only to see a random turkey:rolleyes:
I then went swimming and managed to get the snorkle and goggles off the penguin, floating beneath him, lol...nice
I then had had enough of the bad graphics and decided to exit, i hit the ingame X......nothing happened. I repeated that many times and still nothing happened.
My PC then froze, and i would like to point out i only got my PC in January and it still had alot of memory.
I was then forced to turn my computer off then back on again because of the game....

Overall.....

Pros:
Nice try, using paint i believe.

Cons:
Shocking graphics
loads of glitches
Froze my PC
Penguin went mental
There is a TURKEY!!!
The X didnt work

I must remind you at this point i am not a game maker so i dont have any experience in this field yet i have played alot of fan games.

Verdict: 1/10 because im in a good mood :D

Yeah, that's more than way more than average. Some programs though like high quality graphic games and software, such as Word, Internet explorer may approach the 50MB mark as there's a lot of data, but how you need that much is just stupid. An average computer (XP) may normally use up to 200MB in normal standby, storing operating system variables and that kind of stuff, add your 380MB then you get 580MB, which will trip up any system with up to 512MB, on 1024MB ones you should be fine, but expect lag as the game probably has to play around with all that data.

This "smaller monitor" of yours must be very old because im am sure that the graphics do not change on a different size monitor.

When I played it the character moved backwards when I went forwards, and I was stuck in a loop where it kept moving back and forth when I tried to go side to side. Well, if you read the thread before you downloaded the game, you would have realized it's not. from all the rude comments, I have decided to make this just another (hopefully the 2nd last) version of the game.

It takes up so much memory becuase it's a .zip.He made a .zip then put in two game verisons in with a video.You can see that when you open it.
Also not to be rude or anything,
The graphics suck the size of the screen does not matter the size of the screen just makes the view bigger or smaller.You can't move the penguin does dounts by walking.You can't go anywhere.You can't exit the game I had to open my windows task manger and end the program.
