I am sorry if this is in the wrong place. Mods please move it if it is!

Clubpenguin on the lot! Season 1!

Welcome to CPOLT Season 1! This thread is for inspiring young "online" movie makers.
Please read the requirements to join below:

(1) All videos must be appropriate. (2) No video may be longer than three (3) minutes. (3) All videos must meet requirements. (4) Must have a small crew to enter (5) Must have at least 3 actors in EVERY MOVIE you publish. You do not count as an actor. (6) You can't act in your movie. This varies. (7) You must not leave any rude comments, only the judges can do that!

Now that the rules are down, lets talk about the judges. They have not all been assembled yet, but I am getting some of my closest buddies who are Visualaly and Spacialy smart. If you want to be a judge, you have to have taken a test in school that shows how you're most smart. You must be able to see things in your mind and picture how they will play out, plus you need good taste in movies. Only the school test can tell if you are that kind of smart. You must also be Verbally smart. All judges are allowed to leave ANY COMMENT on your video as stated in rule #7.

If you want to be in CPOTL season 1, you need to make a Pre-qualification video. The pre-qualification video requirements are below:

Must be no more than 2:00 minutes
Must be dramatic
Must have story line.
Has to be at the minimum 1:30 minutes.

How to post your pre-quali. video:

Upload video to Youtube
Post the link in your comment.

Note, you need to have posted 15 posts to insert a link. I will review all the videos.

Another note, please only use real music (i.e. Move along) if it is background music or faded heavily. I really do not like to watch videos like that.

I am planning to go to the California or New York City School(s) of Directing. I have been told by many I have great taste and reviews on videos, so if I post something that hurts your feelings, then dont try to make a comeback. If you read the requirments, you will notice that I have the right to do that.

Thanks for reading, hope to have this started soon!

Im sorry Paperyoshi, but you cannot make it in. You used inappropriate language, which if you read the rules, is against the rules. Plus, your pre-quali was a music video, it had to be a drama video about something. You have been disqualified before it started.

Why can't a music video be a "drama video" also?

Also, I don't understand the music rule. What's considered a "real song"? That just doesn't make much sense to me...

Hmm... I'd participate, but Hellopayton is about to get banned. (He has 4 infractions)

To Rod Rego,
It cannot be a music video because they are to often used. The true art of video making is not to use a song and just type the lyrics. It had to be a "drama video" because that's the rules. I change the kind of video every time I do this, but you have to have a good taste in video art. That, was swearing, and it disoebeyed the rules. If you threw a video contest, I know FOR SURE you would get many, many people, but if I were you, I probably wouldn't want to listen to a bunch of songs over and over. Of course, I am probably going to re-consider letting PaperYoshi back in because of his true art in this. I know I sound a lot like Quazar, but im not the person who lets anyhting slip. I had to watch his video in school today. If the teacher saw that I was watching a video swearing and using alcholic terms, I would get in trouble. And no, im not in Elementary.

*Edit: A real song is a complete song, no fading. Plus, his video was more of comedy than dramatization. If this were the real On the Lot show, they wouldn't let you put in some music and just sit there the entire time. Man I hope im not banned for this*
