Hello. I have made a guide to catching Shiny Pokemon in any of the games that go from Ruby and up.
Chapters:
1.The Ruby/Sapphire Guide
2.Fire Red/Leaf Green Guide
3.Emerald Guide
4.D/P Guide (Probably the only guide you want)
Chapter 1: Ruby/Sapphire
Well cathing a Shiny Pokemon in this game isnt very common. What I say for this game is first finding a shiny pokemon somewhere, then when you caught always look in that oe spot for it. Or use Gameshark if you want to XD. I have at least found 10 or 19 Shiny's in this game, it gets simple to find them after a while. Where did I find them? Well since I have ruby it may be different for you Sapphire players so be careful! Well the first Shiny I caught was a Shiny Plusle. I found this Pokemon at the Bike place.... I havent played the game in a LONG time. And the second Shiny Pokemon I found in thatgame was a Gloom. I was just walking thru the bushes at the place with the Ferry. So those are my 2 recomended spots to look.
Chapter 2: Fire Red/Leaf Green
Catching a Shiny Pokemon in this game is almost impossible. I have only seen one and it was a Shiny Meowth. I found it outside of my house in the game (I have Fire Red) and I am like Qouting myself: Lemme guess a Meowt... WHOA! So I caught it with a Poke Ball but Shinys kinda fuss with me when I try to catch them. So its unfortunate but thats all I have to say or these games.
Chapter 3: Emerald
This game is kinda the same as Ruby/Sapphire. Ok fine it is the same game as both of them! Except this game brings on something the Battle Frointer (PS the cartoon series of that sucked) and its a great challenge. I have seen quite a few Shinys in some of those buildings, except they werent catchable -_-. I have also seen a shiny outide of that place. A Shiny Pikachu to be exact! I wasnt really expecting it but one just appared right away! I didnt think it was in this game but I gues I was wrong! Sorry guys I cant remember the area where I saw it.
Finnaly what you all have been wating for: Chapter 4: D/P
This is probably the game that I can remember best. Well cathcing a Shiny is 50%. Finding one is 20% about. Although I have seen ALOT in my travels. I use the Poke Radar but we will getto that later on. When I beat the game I ran into an shiny Ryhorn. I ran into about 20 Shiny Quagsires in the Safari Zone. But Quagsire are very hard to catch. There are 3 easy ways on finding a Shiny Pokemon.
1. AR (Action Replay)
2. Transferring them from one of your previous games.
3. Using the Poke Radar
Now the easiest way out of all of these is the Poke Radar. When you use ot you can tell when there is a Shiny Pokemon about. To tell you must look for a bush that shines with sparkles. Thats when you know that its a Shiny. But sometimes they can get away! So make sure you get to that spot as quick as possible!
