I'm sick of all these movies. All they are is Effects Effects, effects! And acting. Wait...and blood and shooting. I can't tell you what I think is the best movie ever, because I don't know. Besides, those are all new movies, when really the older the movie, the better. Look at Jaws, for instance!

i vote gladiator because that was such a good movie... besides, i'm learning about ancient rome, and i think they gave a good potrayal of ancient rome. I liked it!

Without doubt Goodfellas wins hands down. It is the absolute masterpiece of cinema, in a league of its own. Personally I find The Godfather to be very overrated, its too long and:) drawn out, and its has nothing like the pace and excitement, wit or humour as Goodfellas. The Departed is also a classic, it holds second place in my best films of all tilmes list. And Gladiators......how it can even be on this list I don't know!
