Nice tutorial Dom. I'll try it in a few minutes.

EDIT: There's a problem. I seem to be the only one that this happens too, but there's no "Apply Image" button under image.

What version of photoshop do you use? I've never heard of that problem before.

Do you know how to copy and image? Copy it and paste it back on to do Image>Apply.

I know how to copy and paste, if that's what you're asking.

I think I get the concept but I'm not sure. When you click apply image, are you copying all the layers and merging the copies?

No. If you just click on copy it will only copy what you have on that layer.

Oh well I've known that since I knew layers even existed. I'm talking about the apply image button.

Oh. No it does not merge anything. I just copies the whole image.

I'm sorry, I can't help you. I just have a folder of random C4Ds, and I just click a random one when I need a C4D, and if I don't like it, I just click another.

Penguindude, when you apply image, it copies the whole image to one new layer, but doesn't merge the whole thing.

That's what I meant. It keeps the other layers behind the new one, but the new one is all the others merged. It's like flattening the image, but keeping copies of the separated layers, no?

Exactly it. You can probably probably flatten the image, copy it, undo the flattening, then paste on a new layer, rather then applying the image. It will take a lot longer, though.

Mm'k. I'm going to finish the rest of your tutorial.

EDIT: You can can just duplicate them all and merge the duplicates. Takes about a second. ;)

EDIT: Er, what are the defualt settings of spatter? There's no "switch to default" button. Sorry for the trouble.

EDIT: And I still don't know how to add a clipping mask. I've been asking but no one seems to know how except for the people who don't see my posts.

When I say default settigns, I mean don't change the settings, use the ones that come up. To add a clipping mask, goto Layer > Create clipping mask. Will probably be different on your version of photoshop.

But the ones that come up are the last ones that I used. It doesn't switch back to default when I close the window.

Then just use ones that looks nice a spattery. It won't make that much of a difference in the end if you don't have the same settings that I used.
