i got 3 red rings of death, when ive only had it for 3 weeks... there giving it back to me next week with 1 month of gold xbox live (gameplay). IM SO EXCITED! P.S. (how do u find your console's serial number?)

Um you will have the gamertag if no one on live has it but you need either a internet code or a wireless internet adapter for the 360 and I'll try to find out about the serial code.

wat i ment was, I made my account online, but my xbox wasn't connected to the internet.... so if I connect my xbox to the internet, and I register my xbox, will my xbox have my account?

Its should be on the top or the bottom of the 360 probly a silver sticker with the code

You should probably send it to microsoft and they'll fix it.

Ummm did you buy a 12 month or somthing? and do you have a ethernet cable from your modem to your xbox? if you do you should be able to get on xbox live

you don't need a 12 month subscription, because im starting off with a silver accound. also yes I do have a cable from my modem to my xbox.

The evil red cresent of death clames another victim. I'm sorry to hear about your Xbox 360, but luckily Microsoft fixes them for free. The most common problem with them is that the air filture becomes blocked with dust. I'm not sure if that's the case with your Xbox, but it's not that hard to fix, if it is.

Well when you say join xbox live then it says would you like to keep the gamertag you have?Then say yes or no then from there keep on going.

I got my 360 the day it came out and luckily mine's never failed me. ((Yet)) i probably just jynxed it.
