Do you have a wordpress, or a piczo blog, all about club penguin? Well, ask yourself. Do you have that blog for fun! Or to tell the news? Do you compete for blog hits with other people? Or do you want to make more friends! All of these are fine, and I'm not trying to tell you this is bad. But, ask yourself, why would you give people the news, when they can clearly find out for themselves, in club penguin. And most probably found out without reading your "informative post". Or, do you use your blog, to be popular? Thats fine too, almost all of us would love to be popular or famous on club penguin! But, why do it on a wordpress or piczo blog. When you could go on cp, make friends, and bam. Your popular without a BLOG! So, just think, your giving people news that they know, your earning or faking hits to be popular, and all for nothing. You could make a blog, and use it solely for making friends, and THATS GREAT!! So, thanks for reading.

I don't have either. I honestly think having a website about CP is a complete waste of time. Everybody who plays CP already knows what the updates are, so why waste your time telling people stuff they already know? What's the fun in having someone tell how to do or find everything in CP. As you said most people make those sites to try to get "famous". Having a site for friends and chatting, like Rod Rego's site, is the only kind of site involving CP thats really necessary to make.

No, I don't have a Wordpress site or a Piczo for at all. I wouldn't be famous if I tried, but that's not important at all. Club Penguin is about fun and friends, not popularity. That's just sad if someone makes a Piczo to be "famous" on a game.

I don't have either. Everyone who has one thinks they will become "famous". Even though it is just a computer game and people don't even know who they are. Its funny how people who get no comments, and barely any views, still write stuff:rolleyes:.

Because people look at how "famous" paintboy100 is, and think that they can be like that too. That shows how pathetic some people are (paintboy100 included), taking up mass amounts of time managing a website just so they can try and be "famous" on a virtual game.

Some of the replies in this thread are really bothering me. I created The Penguin Place about 1/2 a year ago, and the only reason I did it was for fun. Not everyone is in it for the "fame," even though that sometimes comes with it.

Mr Booshkah, people aren't pathetic if they do that. They're hopeful and confident. I believe you can do anything if you put your mind to it, and if people want to make a popular fansite, let them.

I'll agree with you; most people who make Piczo's and Wordpresses are in it for the popularity, and they're the ones who are pathetic. But not everyone is like that, so keep them in mind too.

I respect the people who put time and hard work into websites meant to help people, have fun, and anything else not involving popularity. The only problem I have is with the people who do it only for popularity. I'm not one of those people so I really shouldn't care if they make a site or not. Your right, it's their life they can do whatever they want with it.
