Please see my review thread for more great books.

If you love reading fantasy, then you need to cheak out these series. Even though they may seem long, they are action-packed, so they keep your attention.

1. The Bartimeous triligy- this series is very well written. the characters are well devoloped so much that you feel as if you know them. In this series a 'spirit' named Bartimeous is summoned by a boy named Nathanial. They end up becomming friends and together, they save the day.

2. The Septimus Heap series- This triligy is great. Just when you think that you have everything figured out, another curve is thrown your way. The first two books are Magyk and Flyte, and the third and final one, Physik, will be released in 19 days. This series is about a family of seven children. On the youngest ones birthday, she find out that she is not who she thinks that she is, and people want her killed. The head wizard helps her escape to the forest where she finds her real destiny.

3. The Underland Chronicals- Even though it was written towards the middle school range, this is a great read for anybody. Action packed, you can relate to what the characters are feeling. After Gregor falls through a grate in his laundry room and meets cockroaches that are six feet tall, he realizes that he is in an entiraly new world. Throughout this series, Gregor helps out the people who live underground with these insects. He is destined to help because of profecies that were written by the underground's first leader.

Happy Readings

PS- If you have any series that you would like to share with the rest of us, please post a summary of it and I will add it to my post.

Thanks!!!

In fact, for those who like Fantasy(not those kiddish alien types), the actual scientific ones, try reading Isaac Asimov.

And yet you forgot poor Artemis Fowl? Seriously, people should try it. Once you get past the whole super-technology-and-cheesy-peer-pressure thing, you get hooked. Really hooked.

I read the Underland Chronicles. I liked them a lot. They made me cry though. :( LOL! I'm serious though so many awesome people started to die. Made me angry. Glad they brought
Luxa back though. But I began to feel that every book had the same story line. In every book there is at least 3 disasters that happen. It's kinda of a repeating circle thing. But over all I completely recommend these books because even though they are aimed very young people they still are very heartwarming. Not that I'm a big heartwarming fan I just really like this series a lot of action a lot of heartwarming. That's how I like my books! Did they come out with the new one yet?:O

I have never even heard of these books. I say Harry Potter and the Series of Unfortunate Events are pretty good books.
