Freak the Mighty!

I have to read this book called Freak the Mighty for my school. I had a whole list to choose from and this was the only thing that sounded interesting to me. The rest were boring =P. Freak the Mighty is about a kid named Max, an oversized, learning disabled, middle school student as the narrator. He becomes Freak the Mighty when he befriends a an extrememly small, yet highly intelligent, boy named Kevin (a.k.a Freak) who has a physical disability called Morquio's Syndrome (makes him small).

Do you think this book sound's interesting or should I pick another book? I'm debating on whether to pick another book or not. What do you think and have you read it before?

I read it, and it's a good book.
It's a bit sad at the end, so If you cry easily, save yourself the embarrasment and pick another book. ;)

I highly reccomend it. In my opinion, it is my favorite Rodman Philbrick novel, it has humor, mixed in drama. After you are done reading, check out "Max the Mighty".

Yes, I love those kinds of books. I will be sure to check out Max the Mighty after I read it.

I read it....it such a great book one of if not my favorite a guarantee favorite not one boring moment, the sequel is extremely good too !!!
