Rockhopper,Genorated,Moderator,Hacker

I've been tracking Rockhopper lately and im starting to notice he looks kinda computer genorated,like G-Billy and his band.But many people think you can get on him by figureing his password out.And some of my friends think that moderators get on him, moderator rsnail [creator of cp],or crew of cp.
Who do you think controls Rockhopper?

I think they do that to reduce people from making a huge line following him, that would lagg up every room he goes through. If he just appears in rooms people can just use their spy phones or walk tthere themselves.

No, he replies to specific questions sometimes.

I think he has his own version of a safe chat were he picks for things to say, or just types things.

Making a bot would take a while and also most bots are hard to interact with real people. Yes, there are chat bots available, but they are either expensive or take ages to program the situations required.

A moderator playing on it, with the account rigged specially so it could only be accessed from the office perhaps being a real option. Having a child being Rockhopper would be fairly dumb as what happens if the child wanted to play when Rockhopper is away and also how could you really trust the person to act like a model penguin.

Spam bots and chat bots are normally two completely different things.

Spam bots will perform a specified list of tasks again and again, maybe exchanging a link or two, but rarely are designed to interact with users.

Chat bots are based on the end user reactions and are meant to be artifical intelligence, this generally require a lot more programming to react to most phrases. Without a lot of work, these are fairly rubbish and won't do what you want them to do. Some are a combination of the two, some have different modes they can go in, which are actually two completely different things.

Slightly off topic, but oh well. I don't think it would be a bot, I haven't studied Rockhopper enough to give fairly good reasoning of uncovering him as giving specific responses meaning he's a bot.

rockhopper is real, i saw him make a spelling mistake when he was answering someones question, somebody was like "ROCKHOPPER DO YOU HAVE THE EYE PATCH?!" and rockhopper said something like "arrr no, me ey patch is locked up right now" robots dont make spelling mistakes...

Yea thats exactly what I was getting ready to post but I read the other post this time.But I was still thinking,Billybobs kid could actually be older than what we think.;) I think I have found Billybob's myspace if Billybob is really a she.

I've always believed that he was controlled by Billybob or some other moderator.
A while back, his ship landed and I saw him surrounded by penguins.
Some penguins made a group called "The Pirates" and asked Rockhopper to join.
Rockhopper replied
"The Pirates? I never heard of such a club!"

"Sure, I'll make you lads and laddies pirates!"


He responded as a bot couldn't have.

to clear some things up...rockhopper is a speical club penguin bot that uses a speical program to insert automatic messages like ARRGHH and All penguins be me friend and the club penguin staff might answer some questions at time through normal chat and it switches servers automatically...no one would rapidly type in ARGHHH and I BE A PIRATE all day long and switch servers and rooms rapidly

It's not a bot because the mod who is rockhopper probably has phrases written down on a piece of paper and reads it then types it when he should.

There is definatly a person playing on it. Anyone who is able to get on his name is trusted, and thats why you see slightly different personalities from him every time he comes on.

i think there is more then 1 person controlling it, like they have shifts and take breaks, cause if the rockhopper is human, i doubt they can control him all day.

Like I said yes it would be possible to program him to do that, however it would take a while and adapting a bot would still take time and be quite expensive.

One of the biggest pieces of evidence that Rockhopper is a bot is if he was on outside of NHI working hours as then it probably isn't a member of staff, unless they control him from home.

PS. Hack is not a bad word, we can mention it briefly as part of a discussion, what is not allowed is telling people how to hack or giving them resources to help them do so.

Most of the questions I had to ask about 10 times till he answered. He didnt see them over the crowd cause hes not a bot..:|

I think he is an actual person. If he was a bot he would go to more than one server at a time, maybe even be in all servers at the same time.

If he was a bot he would be programmed to go on a a certain time, which he doesn't. He also spends a different amount of time in each server and goes to different rooms, which could not be programmed.
