I can't decide. I think its a hit because it looks cool when your sittting down next to water, but a miss because it looks kind of funny when ppl are walking around with it.

In my opinion, there werent any good free items ever scince halloween party. There were only one or two that I actually thought were cool, like the green glasses.

I like the older items a bit better than the new ones. They all look way cooler than the new items. For example, the red guitar looks way better than the black and green one. It looks like the color combination for the new guitar was thought of at the last minute. They could of had blue, instead of lime green. If you think about it, blue is a more used color than lime green.

i think it was a hit because i was hoping they would make a fishing pole since it would be good for the camping party, i guess this means that they will start the camping party very soon.

yep. to non-members like me, i think it is a rather cool item, even though it has nothing to do with pirates. after all, it's one of my penguin's few non-clothing possessions. Whatever Rockhopper brings back to Club Penguin Island, I will always, always treasure it. None of my items, clothing or not, is a miss.

I think it is a hit :) It was an unexpected item from Rockhopper and everyone is pretending to fish with it!

The only bad thing I can think of is that I saw someone pretending that it was a sword :O

In my point of view (member) i would say its ok

But in the nonmember's point of view, its like a gift from God. I asked a nonmember how it was and he loved it. Plus, its the first non member item that has a speacal dance.

It doesn't have a special dance... at least none that I know of. A lot of other non-member items have special dances.

Here are some of them.
-Propellor Cap (hovers)
-Mining Helmet (Drill)
-Ducks and Waterwings (Swim)
-Leis (Hula)
-Face Paint (Go Red and Go Blue signs)

What Camping Party? I think this item is a hit because it's finally not a head item, and it goes well with all of Rockhopper's items.

I say a hit, I actually like the item myself. I like going to the dock, cove, and beach and put my fishing rod over the water and go fishing.

I have to say miss, but future hit. They probally planned this Rockhopper thing in early so they can make the fishing poles do something special during the party. I thought there would be a special dance, and I hope there will be a better fishing game in Club Penguin, or atleast improvements to Ice Fishing.
