What the heck? it won't let me get Wi-Fi!

I went to nintendowifi.com, and it says that" An age less than 13 has been specified" or something, and It won't let me create an account! Did my little brother mess with it or something? Cause that was the first time I tried to register on the site. I really want to get my friend code =(

Really? Aren't friend codes generated trough the game itself? I think it's a bit mean of nintendo to not let under 13s use wifi anyway, but... It's like that in other games for sure.

... under 13s are allowed to use Wi-Fi. The Wi-fi connection website uses My Nintendo which is 13+ i think.. And friend codes are functioned by the game.

EDIT: dunno if it is like My Nintendo for sure.
