Hey guys I just got back from Walmart and target shopping for school stuff.
The school i'm going to this year has so much items on demand.
Like here's my list:
9 thin notebooks different colors
multiple different kinds of pens and pencils and markers
Multiple different erasers
calculator
safety goggles
plastic shoebox
protractor
compass
Different kinds of folders and files
paper /graph paper
gluesticks.
The list goes on a little bit more.

If you have your list post 'em here and discuss.
Like what my mom said which i agree with, Alot of the stuff you get you are only gonna use like 4 of them out of a 12 pack thing that they ask you to get. And other items you might not use only alittle bit throughout the year.
So what do you think?

I don't have my list yet, but they are all basically similar. Mine is probably going to be very long. I use way too many pens, pencils, and paper.

Well I know its early but my school starts in about a month august 22nd.
And lately lots of stuff has been sent to my house from my school.

The only things my school expects students to bring is a pen, pencil, rubber, ruler, sharpener, scientific calculator and protractor. (Probably something else I'm forgetting about, too.) My friends are constantly borrowing me stuff leaving my feeling like a walking WHSmiths.

I still have another 2 weeks of school left, anyway, so it's a little early to be preparing for next year. ;)

AAAHHHHH!!! I finally forgot about school. I got my list with my Term 3 report card, but I'd prefer if it stayed hidden until it's closer to the beginning of the year, which for me is after the Labour Day weekend. I've still got a month and a half or so.:D Too bad that I'm not one of those people who ends school in May and begins in the end of August.

For some very odd reason, I get the slightest joy out of back to school shopping.

Actaully no, the schools in my area don't give lists. Since, they have some rule where you can't tell the students to go out and buy something so if you don't have any pencils left. Your teacher can't say "Oh you need to go out and buy some!" they have to phsically go out to the store and buy like pencils for all there students. But, usually every kid has like a truckload of all this fancy mechanical pencils and these ball point pens instead of the cheap plastic ones that come in like 12 packs. But usually, I get this list of supplies.
2 binders (An extra one)
A folder for each subject
A notebook for each subject
About 3 mini memo notebooks for taking notes
A pack up 12 pencils (For the start of the year)
A compass
A protractor
A calculator
Lined paper/Graph paper
Dividers for binders
2 gluesticks
Different kinds of markers
3 pens( I usually bring three good sturdy pens)
A ruler
Multiple erasers
Colored pencils (Eh, these are really for my enjoyment, I just tell my Mom we need these)
A pencil pouch that can clip on to my binder(I am horrid at keeping track of my supplies)
Multiple colored highlighters
A geometry set

If I take Art next year I need:
A sketch book
Caligraphy
One Charcoal pencil
(Basically the same tools as Mikepain)

Spanish:
Spanish Dictionary(The little handheld one)

So, even though my school says you don't need anything but a few pencils, they lie. You pretty much need this entire list to make it through the year, or else your basically screwed.

Hmmph, I'm going to Public school, and I need more school supplies then both, and my school dosen't even tell me what you need, although my Specialists teachers do.

I haven't gone school supply shopping yet because I have a little over a month until school starts. Also, you can save quite a few bucks on all of the supplies with the back to school sales that start in August.

Anyway, my school doesn't tell you what is required for classes. They assume you know what is needed and if there is something in particular you need for a class, the teachers will tell you on the first day of school.

I do not really get any school supplies.
I really have no need for them.

All I need is just a bunch of extra pencils.
I tend to lose mine easily.

FYI,
1-we still have friends, just(sometimes) not as many, and we don't see them as much.

2- being homeschooled doesn't keep you from having a girlfriend/boyfriend

3- what time do you have to get up for "real" school? like 6-6:30? we still have to get up pretty early. like 7:30-8am. and we do NOT get to do school in our pajamas. everyone asks me that...

homeschoolers are so stereotyped. everyone thinks, basically, that we slack off and don't have to take school as serious as other people.:|

Hey There is alot of guys i know that probably want to be my boyfriend im just scared to ask..
And FYI We dont really get to sleep in and although i wear my pjs in school thats not the point.
And actually most of the people that are homeschooled are most likely to excel more in college than public schoolers *no offence just stating a fact* Because of how we dont have to listen to the teacher/parent for a long time instead of actualy doing actual work.
