Different Coloured Pokemon?

Hey everyone!

Well, at the beginning of Pokemon Pearl and Diamond, it shows a TV show about a red Gyardos (I spelt that wrong), so I was thinking, how many siny/ different coloured Pokemon are there?

Well, so far I've only seen (and caught) one. Which is the Shiny Ponyta. So I was wondering, has anyone else seen and/or caught a shiny Pokemon?

Those pokemon are shiny pokemon and you have a 1/9000 chance of finding one, I caught a green golbat on FR and accidentally killed a blue voltorb on emerald.

Those are called shinie pokemon.

You have a 1/8000+ chance o see one, except the gyarados.

You can see all shinie sprites in serebii.net. Some are pretty cool.

Out of curiousity, how many Pokeman games are there?

Not Pokeman it is pokemon and there is a black Charizard! :D I dont know how my friend got it but he said he got a shiny Charizard on the moon. I battled his Charizard. My friend's name is Jiver. Oh yea and i caught a shiny Pidgeot and a shiny Swallow

I think there's 13 Pokemon games where you have to travel as a trainer and all that. I might be wrong though.

Well, four if you think about it. Most of the pokemon games in each generatinon are all fuctioned in the same way except with a different legendery pokemon.

Contrary to the belief that it is sniny, red gyarados is a pokemon that appears once at the lake of rage in gold/silver.

One day, on my pokemon diamond, I was training or something, and then, I came across a pink shellos, only, it was orange. So I was like "OMG a shiny!" so I sent out my nearly dead pachirisu. Shellos killed it, and then I was pressing the screen too fast, and I pressed run.

And now, I wonder, if that shiny shellos will ever come back to me...:(

oh yeah i forgot,you can get shinies with the pokeradar by making chains of 40+ then looking for shiny grass

the tall grass turn colers if its a shiny thats what i heard from my friend.;)

A chain is one use of the Pokeradar after another, so if you use the Pokeradar 40+ timesyou can get a shiny, as far as I know you can get a shiny on the first Pokeradar attempt.

On my leaf green, I caught a blue pincer. ( i know i spelled it rong ) I don't know how I caught it. lol. I never knew it was called a "shiny". lol, alot of my friends were jealous of me.

GlameowDude, why'd you bump up this old thread? The question I asked a long time ago has already be answered, and no one cares that all your Pokemon are shiny. You're not impressing anyone.

i have a numel with a blue back and a green spinda. i had a shiny oddish but i think i killed it cleaning my boxes. -_- anyway i caught my spinda from just try to get a lot of spinda to trade between my games.

And what's the significance of 272 pokemon? I have like 300 legit shiny pokemon. :cool:
