Worst CP Update Ever Tournament (Round 1 Match 3)

Hello everyone! Our first Second Round Match is set and it looks to be a good one. The 10th Ranked Stage pulled a HUGE upset of the 1st Ranked Bringing Back Old Items and is now set to take on the 3rd Ranked Tour guides which won hands down over Hardly Used Rooms! But we still have plenty of round one action before we get to that!

Today’s battle is one of the most anticipated of the tournament. The 5th Ranked Rockhopper is set to take on the 6th Ranked Agents. Both of these updates are very big on CP and either one of them has a chance of winning this tournament and giving the 2nd Clock Tower a run for it’s money if it gets to the 2nd round!

Rock Hopper (5)-

CP invests allot of hype into one of their most versatile characters. His arrival is always dramatic and there is always some gimmick that makes him arrive just in time. He is mostly popular with new users because frankly old players have gotten tired of him. It’s almost as if CP sits back and says “Oh we don’t have anything planed for this week so lets just send Rockhopper in.” Take his last visit for example. He comes, brings back a free item he has brought before, and has three random items that have nothing to do with being a pirate! Do people even read his journal anymore?

Agents (6)-

“Secret” Agents have always been a joke. They are simply not secret anymore. The missions aren’t even that great, coins on the ceiling? How stupid do you have to be to miss that? And they didn’t even finish the last mission because you never found the culprit. If you wanted to catch them than you leave the coins up there and wait for them to go get them. We all know CP puts a lot of time into it but is it really worth it? If CP would make them regular agents than we could put those badges and pictures to good use on our player cards.

It is time for Match 3! Let your voice be heard, this will probably be our closest battle yet!

Well, Agents have missions. And are pretty interesting. But Rockhopper brought back an old item. The only thing he really does it bring items, 1 of which is nonmembers. Raraely there is an update. It gets boring. That's just me....

I chose agents. Agents get missions every few months and it takes a while to make them. None of the prizes can be worn, and also, its not even secret anymore.

I think rockhopper is better. He brings items and comes back a lot.

Well, I don't like Rockhopper, when he comes to Club Penguin I don't even get on for it.

In the case of agents, whenever I get on Club Penguin, I like to hang out in the Agent HQ, and when there's a new mission I get on to play it. :D

I voted agents. The "secret" agents are barely a secret anymore, and what do you get to show from being one, a spy phone and the privlage to do missions. At least with Rockhopper you get something from it. Unless all of a sudden CP does something dramatic to try and make the agents more exciting, they are probably going to go the way of the tour guides.

Well, i think agents are good and bad. Good because we get to do missions, and get kool medals and letters for completeing missions. Bad because i remember when Agents were accully secret(id say about mid August, thet started to not be secret anymore), now they are not secret anymore.:|. I miss the good ol days. But, now thats over, and agents will remain not secret for a long time.

Rockhopper:
The goods and bads of Rockhopper. Good, because i love to walk around on his ship, and try to find him on cp alot, which sometimes in suceed in finding him. Bad, because just recently, he brought back the 1st item he brought here. :( , but we all got over it. Also bad is becuase he is just a AI bot, who is programmed to walk around on cp, and say stuff over and over again.

well, thats my views on the topic. ill be back as the next voting session comes.

Considering how few eye items there are I think that was a good idea. CP gives out way to many hats.

yeah VV i agrree. Plus the agents just get missions which have non-wearable prizes, are not secret, and only have to be 30 days, which is really too young. I fyou ask me, it should be 100-150 days

You said that they didn't find the culprit. I beleive G said he was experimenting, and it was his fault.

I choose both. They both suck. Agents aren't secret and you get NOTHING for the Missions besides AWESOME ( :rolleyes: ) medals and a letter. Rockhopper is a joke. They want you to be excited and he comes back with nothing. Now we are supposed to be all excited to get into his private room. I bet there will be a underwater telescope. Then they will tie that into something lame like they always do.

"Secret" Agents, without a doubt. Anyone can report misbehaving players. Other than being able to go on missions and use your spy phone, there are no interesting benefits to being an agent.

However, Rockhopper does bring new items(or at least recolors) for members and a [new](depending on how old your penguin is) free item. You can also get a dandy eye patch if you manage to find him(it took me a while...).

I think that the original idea of secret agents is good, but they have become too boring. Many users don't even pay attention to the Agent HQ. I do use the spy phone on rare occasions. I used it to get to the Peet Shop when the Plaza was full just the other day. I think Rockhopper i better because he brings items when he comes. Many players enjoy when Rockhopper comes back an gives out items. It is also an added present to the non-members that have almost no clothes. Overall, Rockhopper wins.

I suppose I like both, Rockhopper was great, a new room that you can only go in when he comes (Room as in his ship), but agents were good too, when I'm bored I can go do a new or old mission, it always makes me happier! :)
