Nubbing is inherent to Flash, not just CP. In every Flash file there's this thing called a Stage. The stuff on the Stage is the stuff normally visible to the user. Flash developers often will even place things off the Stage and have them move in (or have them already on the Stage and move them out). When you resize the window, sometimes you can look at things past the Stage. The Pizzatron "cheat" worked because you moved the toppings to pizzas before they reached the Stage. You probably also know that you can drag someone's player card off the stage to facilitate newsdancing.
Stage in Nubbing
Nubbing works because in order for people to use the chatbar, it must be part of the objects on the Stage. If you are familiar with graphics editing, you probably know about layers. Layers are also in Flash. Penguins are below the layer that the chat bar is on. Because what is off the Stage is still a part of the Flash file, offstage areas still receive mouse clicks. When you click your mouse offstage, your penguin moves as far as it can before it reaches the end of its layer or triggers an environmental change (moving to another room), therefore, your penguin moves to the bottom of its layer, under that chatbar, and is, thus, nubbing.
Therefore, nubbing will always exist.
End speech :O
