Honestly, I don't think this game is too good.
I mean, I like the graphics and I see you (rod) put a lot of work in it, but there just isn't enough interaction. Not that any standard game would have, and I'm not even talking about any "learning curves."

Also, another bug: when you buy food or drink, no coins get subtracted.

It's ok. It's nothing I have expected. It could use more interaction, more missions, a newspaper. Maybe every time you add something new, when someone starts playing it, it adds the new stuff to it. It has no glitches, so that's good.

Well, you know Babidu as your fiend. But today I will be more kind to you, Rod Rego. Ok, so Waddles is the graphic bomb good job on it. The PengTunes are awesome too.

But, why aren't there any minigames to earn coins? Yes, you can earn coins by killing birds and chopping wood, but a minigame would be more fun. You could actually insert your clue into the game of waddles.

The other thing is, that if I buy a Coffee, I still keep my coins, fix that.

And I can easily see that you haven't worked on the shop of Waddles. Proof is here:

Rod, now youre taking it the wrong way. Nobody said that you had to make this game. Now, youre basically saying that you made this game just because you felt like it. Not to have fun and show people your talent, when thats how you were acting the whole entire time you were actually in its development. Im not TELLING you what to do anywhere. The only thing I did, was SUGGEST for you to do. If you're going to make a beta version and change 1 or 2 things in the full version in 1 months time when the beta came out, and 2 months time for 2 little updates, then it would feel the same if you left it with the beta. In the past 2 months, I was hoping for a new minigame, more clothes, and such. I hope this isnt the final FULL version and I hope youll at least keep making updates. Again, im not TELLING you. Hey Rod I made an installer for Waddles. Now you can install Waddles on your PC. It shows up in all programs with the name Waddles. I tested it myself. Saving and Loading and everything still works. Now everyone can install Waddles onto their start menu. You can install it at this link.

It's called Game maker. There is quite a bit of work, but for non multipler games it isn't too hard.

Dude, its a great game. The graphics are great and the rest is too, not every game needs to have a point to it, i've played loads of games with no points to them but they are still fun.

Neither do all the other fan games being made right now. Rod's go above and beyond the standard set by most games here. To really see how good it it, don't compare it to Miniclip's games or video games, compare it to other games of it's kind. Otherwise you look at it as a piece of garbage.

Sorry for the double post but there is a glitch to the game unless you just made it that way, When you cut down trees it allows you to cut down one and get 50 coins but if you go back to the camp you can cut it down again. You can keep doing this as long as you go to the map and come back. In 5 min. I Went everywhere on the map and got scored all this:

Step 1 of Playing Waddles:
Read the first post in the thread slow and carefully.

Step 2:
Find the Download Here link in the post. Click on it.

Step 3:
It will open up a new window. Press the download link on the new window. It will send you to the download website where you can download it to your computer.

Step 4:
Download it. After it's done downloading, find it's folder on your desktop. Right-click on the folder, do 7-Zip, and extract. Then a new folder will be made. Left click on the new folder two times, and a new window will appear, having the game in it.

Step 5:
Right click on Waddles in that new window. Then select New Shortcut. Drag the shorctcut of Waddles to your desktop.

Step 6:
Left click your shortcut to Waddles two times.

Step 7:
Play it.

Alright then. Lol, I loved Waddles, it was so adorable (coming from a guy XD) and I liked everything. I think I found the first error doe. When you go to the Clothes Shop, you can see a Car shop and Pet Shop but on the map, it's not there. Oh snap, good find. :rolleyes:

Umm, how do you not know? You type a name for your penguin, click the right button towards the bottom and move you penguin with the arrow keys. You can also click to activate actions. To add to that, how old are you?

That's impossible. And if it were possible, I would save it as a .swf, because people can edit .fla's. ;)

People can edit .swf too, you can just write a decomplier and then recompile it. ;)

If you choose to have a Mac then you have to realise the way they 'avoid' viruses is that you can't run many programs even if you want too.

Yeah actually it is.There is many features pro can do that lite can't.There is 1000's of codes that pro can use that lite can't.You got to learn how to code to realise the full power of pro.Game maker is very simple yes but once you code almost everything in it no you can make pretty awesome games with just simple scpriting/coding on game maker.

Hiya, Rod. How's it going?

I'm new to Miniclip Forums, but I downloaded Waddles before I registered and I finally get the chance to comment. This is a terrific game, I'm totally speechless. Although it doesn't have much, the graphics are amazing, the locations are cool, and if I was a member of YoYo Games, I would rate this 9/10. I create with Game Maker lots, but I have no idea how you do this.

I have a couple of questions, though.

When you are in the clothing place, you can see a car and pet shop out the window. Are these future locations?

When you have a clothing item on, I can't take it off. How do you do it?

Why can't you go into the lighthouse near the SubSpot?

What is the purpose of the PengPark?

I also need to point out bugs; whenever I buy something from the SubSpot or Cafe, my coins don't deduct, and you can't view the screenshots.

One last thing: on the coffee machine in the Cafe, it isn't spelled "expresso," it is spelled "espresso."

The game has been highly respected, due to it's amazing graphics, music, Peng-tunes, etc. The game truly is a marvel. Your basic commands aren't very basic. For instance the walk cycle is the BEST GameMaker made I have ever seen. It really did WoW me!

The rooms weren't the best, but they weren't bad either. I would say that since it took so long, they updated a lot of things. I only got the Final release, but I hear it was marvelous in the beta also. I think that this may be my only negative part of this post. I didn't like the "Parlor" or whatever it was, judging by lack of fun and things to do in there. The dance club was probably one of the best, because not only the music was great, the flash and light was the bomb. Your house, nothing to do but load your music. I tried loading the Niirojuusan Podcast, and it ended up not working so I had to exit the game.

When you enter the game, it draws you in. Mostly because of the flahing text, that music that just POPS at you, and not to mention, it was loud and big! Your username entering was great too, but Load a Game wasn't my favorite thing. But overall, you did a great job with that.

The snow was awesome.

That wraps things up for now. I don't really want to post anymore, but I'll add this.

Make another game, four our sake!
