Rockhopper? Who?

I've just started to play Club Penguin a few days ago, and I don't know almost anything about the game, so I was suprised today when I went for the first time into beach and found a ship called "Migrator".
Apparently the penguin who is in charge of it is someone called Rockhopper.

So who is him anyway? Does he also post on this forums?

Rockhopper is a mod. he comes every 1 or 2 months and gives us items he is not a penguin like me and you he is controled by a mod;)

Rockhopper is a fictional pirate character who arrives at Club Penguin aboard a pirate ship named The Migrator. Introduced on October 14, 2006, he arrives in the game approximately every two months. During a Rockhopper visit, all players (including non-members) may explore his ship, which offers exclusive 'rare' items for purchase, and a fictional diary of the character's adventures. When among game players, Rockhopper appears as most others except that he wears pirate clothes unavailable to others.

A "message in a bottle" had been seen floating about, visible through the telescope located in the Lighthouse Beacon. On March 1, 2007, the bottle ended up on the right section of water on the Beach. It appeared to be some pages torn out of Rockhopper's journal, and ripped around the edges due to a rough journey. The words and pictures were later published in a book which tells about a stowaway on Rockhopper's ship called Bambadee and how he overcame his fears and made friends. Rockhopper apparently returned him to the island but amazingly, was not noticed by other penguins. The story also tells of Bambadee's friendship bracelets, which can be received by clicking on a picture of one after reading the story.

Rockhopper's ship, the "Migrator", was again visible through the Lighthouse Beacon's telescope on June 19, 2007, indicating another visit will soon occur.

He is not a poster on the forums He is a very famous character on cp that comes around some times and brings gifts. He is like Aunt Arctic glad to help :)

He is like a robot or something made by CP. He is a pirate penguin who comes every like 2 months and brings items. He does not come on the forums though.

Rockhopper is the pirate of Club Penguin. Rockhopper's account is controlled by Moderators on Club Penguin. His puffle is named Yarr and together they sail the seven sea's off to Rockhopper Island.

Everytime Rockhopper returns, he brings around 4 or 5 items, one of them being free, the other you must purchase with your coins. If you read the Captains journal on the Migrator, you will hear a lot about Rockhopper's voyages. He does not come on the forums.
