When you change your date on your computer, does it affect how long you have your membership. For an example, if I had a month long membership and i changed my date on the computer to a month later, would my mebership expire? I know chaning the date on your computer makes your penguin older. But I hope it doesn't mess with the membership time.

It used to affect membership but I am almost certain that
the bug was squashed, all it does is make you older,
it doesn't release early parties or anything. ;)

I completeley messed up my old computer by doing this.As soon as I started Club Penguin and found out about agents I decided to change the date.I set it to 2099,I was very upset when my computer shut down and wouldnt start back.It got so confused that it litteraly killed itself.do not change the date on you computer what so ever.:O

That's weird I hope that never happens to me.Whenever I did that,it ever messed my computer up.That's just plain weird.
Oh,and I realized another thing:If you try doing that glitch to become an agent or a tour guide,it doesn't work.:P

A while back(March 2006 or so) The bug did effect ho wlong your membership lasts and your age, roomers were that it even showed you updates that were just around the corner a bit earlier.
The bug was squashed though, you can still change your age.

Well i'm sure they fixed that bug because if you can make it expire by going forward it means you can make it last by going backwards.
At one point they made it so you couldn't alter the Penguin age by changing your computer's date. People use to use it to get agent status early but apparently for some reason CP has allowed everyone to do this again. Even more of a reason for me to insist that the agent system is a joke.

Hey! That is soo true. Well it doesnt really make your membership expire or last. It just says "Your Membership Has Expired" But when you check your inventory you still are a member and you still can wear all your member clothes. However making the membership last longer i think it still says "Your Membership Has Expired"

It does not mess with the days of your membership, only age or the CP time in the game.
