Hi some of my favorite books are the trilogy of Uglies , Pretties and Specials by Scott Westerfeld. If you like science fiction and adventure these are the books to read. Heres a brief overview of the first book Uglies:
Tally Youngblood cant wait to turn sixteen. Then she gets to become pretty ( this means to become beautiful) and live in the high tech party life of Prettytown. But her new friend Shay does not want to become pretty so she runs away to stay ugly. Because of this Tally is given the choice to not turn pretty at all or turn her friend Shay in. The choice Tally makes will change her world forever.
