The reason he isn't awnsering because he is american and he's sleeping.

You probably did something wrong but you didn't realise it, or you are a spammer. Or maybe because you have a bad name?

*sigh*... it's not about post count. It's about good quality, helpful posts that contribute to the community in some way or other.

Me too,i think that alot of people knew that i had a good post count and i have been following the rules. Now look i have only 2 posts :skull:

Think about it, you had 293 posts so it went down to zero because you were probably spamming to get high post count. I think post count is one of the main reasons of spam

Bam Margera
10 March 2007, 08:40 AM
I was never spamming,i know people that have 400 post and they didnt got there post count reset to 0?And i am NOT A SPAMMER:mad:

Well i can answer that. Its one of two reasons

1. You have being spamming.
2.If you have read the rules it says anyone who boasts about thier post count will be reset to 0.

I dont know how you got that many posts in the first place. Remember its "Quality not Quantity".

That happened to my sister, for double posting, maybe you spam too much? Or maybe you had too many post in a day?
And remember what RFS/Tetsumonchi said, "Don't be an first day SPAMMER".
I saw an guy that was named "11dx11', he have more than 400 post, and he's an 'Triple Rule Violator', don't you see it why now? Maybe he will be lossing ALL of his post soon.

And remember, 'Post Count' is not iimportant.
And if you continue spamming, double posting/tirple posting/etc or posting threads on the wrong Sub-Forum, you willl probably reset your post count again to 0.
Anyway, this thread is spam, one of the Moderator lock this thread or delete it?

Thanks for reading,

You may not think that yourself, but you obviously were, or no one of higher authority would have reset your post count.

RFS is planning to perma-remove the post count.

You and others, is spamming too much, thats why he want to remov it.

Your post count has been set to 0.

Make such a big deal about it and I'm sure that RFS might do you the favour of doing it again to try to teach you that post count doesn't matter.

You probably deserved it, unless we have a crazy mod or admin on the loss. :O

10 March 2007, 12:51 PM
Bam, it's simply because you posted a lot to increase your post count. RFS doesn't want anyone to care about post count. That's why RFS is trying to contact Ben to talk about getting rid of post count.

there are three reasons i can think of:

1. spamming
2. a glitch in the system
3. someone liek hacked into the system or something and did it

its unlikely the someone hacked into the system but its still posible. think back, were there are posts or threads you made that in any ways could be considerd spam? it could just be a glitch in the system, like for no reason, it sat back your post count to 0, besides those, i have no idea about how it happend. you should like ask RFS (if you havn't already) or tetsu.

HA:P If you don't spam and you follow the rules why do you even care about your post count. Lets say if there was no post count thing would you of posted all the 200 or what ever posts? NO.

10 March 2007, 01:39 PM
RFS most likely reduced your post count because he thought you had been posting too much, or because the majority of your posts had spam elements in them. From what I've seen in these few posts, you have fairly good grammar and know the rules pretty well. Just RFS's way of telling you not to post too much too fast I suppose.

Either way, it shouldn't matter. You get post count because you talk about something you find interesting, not because you want a "speshul rank."

Read that, it exlains why your post count was reset to 0. Posts are about quality, not quantity. If you have 3 posts, that have something to contribute to these forums, its better than have 200 posts that are spam.

If post count is shut off, most penguins will return to MC, where there is post count. Alas, we can see them all perma banned over there.

Well, If you had read the rules you wouldve read this:

12. Don't brag about your post count.
It's QUALITY NOT QUANTITY. Just because someone is new and hasn't been active does not mean he/she is not a good user. Bragging about your post count, or making fun of others because they have "7 posts" will get your post count reset to zero, then we will see who is getting laughed at.

There is something, a sticky by RFS, and it said that, When you're post count goes down it could mean that you're posts were deleted because they were spam. this happened like the 1st week because people had like 200 posts in the 2nd day, like 100 of the posts were spam so he deleted those. So the only way to make you're posts count go up to post quality, usefull posts, then thry won't go away. I hoped this helped!

10 March 2007, 02:41 PM
Well, there are three possibilities:

1 - You spammed and spammed and got your post count reset.

2 - You didn't read the rules or any of the other welcome or things like that, and you didn't see that your account from the old MC forums isn't carried over.

3 - You posted in spam threads and they were deleted, thus having your post count go down.

*Also, post count really doesn't count.*

You have almost 300 posts was the point of doing that, RFS probably thinks you've been posting to get a high post count, and from reading this thread you complaining about losing post count it's probably true

The Chosen One

Hey, it isn't about the post count on these forums. Remember, it's QUALITY not QUANTITY!

Chappers
10 March 2007, 03:13 PM
RFS probably thought that you have a high post count, in a few days, and that you spamed alot of it

which is probably true, how else could you get 293 in such a short time

Babidu
10 March 2007, 03:13 PM
Well, Bam Margera your post count maybe was set to 0, because you spammed the whole time.

But, does the post count really interest you?

I swear i have read the rules very carefully and never spammed or do anything against the rules. It doesent really matter to me my post count but i am sure that all my posts was helpful and with proper grammar.Even if i did spammed i should firstly got a rule violator rank or a warning.Well i guess that i have no other choice than start from the beginning again-_-

The Chosen One

Are you sure you read the rules properly? It says if you boast about your rank, it will go straight down to zero.

Bellito
10 March 2007, 03:46 PM
I agree that you also should have a Rule Violator rank, but I must admit, you do seem to have been making some extremely short "Yeah, i agree that ones my fav 2" kind of posts and that is, unfortunately, considered spam here. Consider yourself lucky to be without the rank :)

Bam Margera
10 March 2007, 03:57 PM
I never boast about my post count and its not that easy as you think to be without my rank because i made alot of job about it but now the mods dont really care, they maybe close my thread but anyways they made a very big unfair decision

Proof that users only care about post-count.

It aint about that. You probably spammed a lot, or something bad.

SteveTParkin
10 March 2007, 04:12 PM
It's becuase you posted 200+ in 2 days. That is well high for a poster.

We are not just doing it to you we are going to be doing it to some other people as well.

By doing this we have just found out that you only care about ranks. Next time don't post as much in a day.
