Do you like this game? I LOVE it...It's fun owning your own themepark... if you own this game please tell me if you like it or not, and why.

I have the third one, and besides from some lagging at the beggining, it's amazing.
I love the Sandbox mode, where you have UNLIMITED money and all of the rides- the graphics are incredible, and it's fun to actually ride your ride.
I named mine the Penguin Park, and I put up custom pictures of penguins from CP and stuff. :D

I have 1, I used to have 2, and I just have the regular expansion of 3.

I like it, but it gets really laggy, and te graphics aren't very good. They try to make it too 3-D and everythings kinda boxy like the people and the rides.


Other than that, it's great.

Also, 2 is good since you get some of the Six Flags parks.

Edit:When I tried to make a screenshot of it when I put it on Paint the whole screen ws black, so I guess no screenshot.:|

Yeah, that game is awesome, I LOVE killing people on rides, and drowning them and trapping them on islands.

Yeah i do that all the time, my favorite thing to do is get the rocket loop coaster and make it go as fast as possible and watch them fly out of the park, and blow up.

I had all three, but I lost 2 when we moved and I just lost 1 yesterday. I have 3 though, and it's fun and all, but it just doesn't have the same feel as the original 2.

1 is somewhere in my house, I just need to find it. Since I really had problems after about the first 5 scenarios, I used a trainer to unlock all the parks. :P

What do you mean by trainer? Yes, I ran into the same problem for 1 also.:(

Thanks for the bump, and I REALLY hope nobody closes this.

I've got all the games and all expansion packs, plus a ton of custom scenery for RCT2. I play it for hours on end most of the time and here's my rundown of what the seperate games are good for:

RCT1: Scenario play
RCT2: Realistic Parks, unloading your imagination in all forms
RCT3: Realistic Parks, Scenario Play, and unloading your imagination in all forms.

I personally like RCT2 the best for the realism you can achieve (For examples, see a website called nedesigns.com, which I sincerely apologize for if it's advertising), and it doesn't lag. RCT3 is fun, but it doesn't take much before the terminal lag (Lag so bad you just quit since you can't stand it). Definitely my favorite PC game of all time, I've been playing for (Literally) half my lifetime, I got RCT1 when I turned 8 years old.

Don't build any roller coasters, cram it with Gentle Rides and Thrill Rides. If you can, fit a Shuttle Loop in.

No, Chris Sawyer's pretty much out of the RCT stuff now.

And if RCT4 were being made, it would've been released like 2 years ago. So I think RCT's done now... Although there is something in the works that could be considered RCT4, even though it isn't.

Well, as long as you have a good video card, you'll be fine in terms of possible lag. My "new" computer's able to do an easy 60FPS on the game with a lot of action going on at a high resolution.

I have 1, 2, 3 with all the expansion packs. I remember my uncle used to always buy me tycoon games and I always told him I loved Roller Coaster Tycoon so he bought me the expansions and stuff.

Really fun game but 3 is different from the others. I kinda like 1 &2 better than 3.
