Silly Naming Threads

Well I never like those silly naming threads you guys do but apparently CP was listening. A long time ago on the old forums you guys discovered the Cuckoo Clock. Soon after it's decovery someone made a poll on its name. The forums decided his name was Fred and there were sigs and avys for about a week. Jump forward to now and turn your news papers to the "Secrets Revealed" Section.

I went back 5 pages and didn't see any.

and if there are any mine is different because my subject is silly naming threads and not Fred.

thats weird...i swore i posted in a couple of them yesterday. Oh well. But i dont think im backseat modding, Vital. If I was, Then id say this thread should be locked because theres been a bunch of them already. And I'd act like one of the stupid noobs and say :lock: LOCKED :lock:....but yeah. So maybe the octopus will be called PurpleD, or one of the names on that thread. Well there's still the 'name the green puffle in the night club' thread, although it's kinda messed up. :P And I don't think the sharks in ice fishing, ducks in balastic biscuit, whale in the second book of the competition or surfing judges have names yet... :rolleyes:

I don't get what your point is though. You are saying that just because they listened you are going to contribute to the naming threads? I don't get why you had to create a thread about that when you could just put that in a post.

But then again, I'm not a mod.

I don't really think they listen to anyone in their major decissions unless there is really a calling for it. I'm sure Cp just wanted a name for it and remembered back to something they must have read.
....or maybe they just made that name and its all a coincidence.

You can still name him whatever you really want, regardless of what the paper says. It is funny seeing people yell "his name is frd" when you call him something else.
